Summary
When Gil was eight, his father sold him to Maleficent, who purchased him to be her daughter’s very first henchman. Little did they know, that one decision would drastically alter the course of their lives. The Core Four became the Core Seven, a commitment to evil shifting into a commitment to survive, and when they finally got the chance to visit Auradon, it was with one goal only: to free the petty criminals and children of the Isle and leave everyone else there to rot.
It was a large undertaking, but if anyone could do it, it was Mal, with Gil there to support her every step of the way, like a good henchman should.
Also known as: That accidental cannon rewrite that answers the question – what if the Core Four and Sea Three had worked together from the very beginning? With many heaping doses of Gil being the very best accidental problem solver ever, because obviously, this author is not biased ;)

If possible, Jason’s smirk grows sharper.
“Oh?” he mumbles, crossing his arms with a smirk. “Wanna bet on that?”
Like a true Wayne in everything but blood, Tim freezes and slowly turns to meet Jason’s challenge with a narrowed glare.
“Do I want to bet if you get stabbed when whatever you have planned to make Damian smile will, certainly, get you stabbed?” Tim asks, voice monotone.
Jason nods, chin held up high with pride as if he had already won. “Yah.”
Tim blinks. Once. Twice.
By the third blink, his smirk matches Jason’s perfectly.
“You’re on.”
(Or the one where Dick just wanted to prove his dumb brothers wrong about how their youngest does have a heart and a smile, come on, and it somehow turned into a bet on who gets to see the smile first without getting stabbed.)

Now stuck amongst the living, with one foot in the realm of the dead, he must struggle to figure out what Hylia needs him to do. Luckily, the Champions of Old are there to help him as he strives to restore the kingdom.
The Second Book of this series will be Linked Universe. This story can be considered a Breath of the Wild fic.

"From what I saw, it looked like a teenager – maybe sixteen or seventeen? Blonde hair, blue tunic. Had a sword and a bow. I tried to approach, but uhh… long story short, bad timing on my part, he saw something weird and I think I might have spooked him. He pulled out his bow before I could even blink. I think it was a warning shot? Hard to say. I tried to calm him down, tried to talk with him, and that’s about the time he threw the bananas and ran off."
Basically a "gang meets Wild" fic where Wild is a skittish, traumatised, low self-esteem loner who is very stealthy, very fast, not particularly honest and also capable of teleporting. Shenanigans ensue. Features a mix of humour, fluff, hurt/comfort, angst and action, with some of that tasty found family stuff. Things work out eventually, but expect emotional and physical owies along the way. Major themes are in the tags, with some additional CWs listed in the chapter notes - see Chapter 1 for a consolidated list.
Characters and basic premise are from the Legend of Zelda series and the Linked Universe AU, plus some common headcanons from AO3. Not LU canon-compliant. Please DO NOT repost any of my fics.
