A man from our world wakes up as one of the first elves who ever lived.

He can't stop all of it. He's honest enough to admit that.
Some of it, though? Maybe.
But that comes later. First there's the small problem of building a nation out of nothing.
That's the story. Not the war waiting at the end of it, but the work that comes first. The slow, stubborn, sometimes impossible task of taking a handful of elves who looked the gods in the eye and said no, and making a civilization out of them.

When he died, he didn't know what to expect. Being reborn as Loki from the Scandinavian myths was certainly not it. Nothing is what it seems. For one, he is Odin's adopted son, as far as he understands anyway, Thor is his brother, Balder does not exist, and rather than gods, the Aesir seem to be aliens with long life spans.
He didn't know how humans ever got it this wrong.

Dying wasn't in my plans, dying and being reborn in another world even less so. Dying and being reborn with Zoro and Yoriichi's templates wasn't planned either, but I won't say I wasn't excited. Dying and being reborn in a world with reversed gender roles as a man where I had to get multiple wives was definitely not planned. Dying and being reborn in a mishmash of anime, manga, and TV worlds? I might have planned that if I could have.
So now that I was reborn into this completely strange, yet familiar world, I had to live in it, but I certainly didn't have much to complain about.
