Summary
Somewhere in the back of his mind, Katsuki registered the misunderstanding finally. Izuku thought he had been asking because he had been hit by a lust quirk. He didn't realize it was genuinely a hypothetical question. He thought Katsuki was quirked and wanted him.

“Yes,” Kaminari said miserably, finally shoving himself to sit upright. “And we turned him in, but he tried to get me at the last moment because I found him hilarious and I guess he thought that would get him out of an arrest? But Bakugou took the hit for me…”
“He didn’t realize how much I had been holding back before he stripped my self-control,” Katsuki said ominously with a smirk, then he refocused on Izuku. “You alright, sweetheart?”
“S-sweetheart…” Izuku squeaked, his eyebrows shooting up as high as they could go. He felt lightheaded. “Y-your inhibitions were stopping you from calling me-”

Katsuki opened his eyes and saw a burst of blue hair as Aoi tackled Izuku in a hug from behind, over the back of the couch. Izuku wah’d in surprise, jerking forward as Nakayama Aoi leaned in to look at what he was reading, then froze when he finally saw Katsuki.
