More than once, Spamton had come close to losing his composure under the pressure of it all. But if he wanted what he was promised, he had to follow the rules. Put on a smile, obey their every command, and everything would work out just fine.
Tonight, though, before a live studio audience, things started spiraling out of control. If they were in hot water with the network on the regular, now it was boiling over, threatening to sabotage the entire studio.

Summary
After witnessing the Knight attack Tenna, Spamton is brought back to a point earlier that night. With knowledge of what's to come, he tries to find a way to spare his ex-partner. Changing things isn't easy, though, and with each reset he feels a strange chill spreading through him. Even if traveling further back has him confronting all the things they were- and all the things they weren't- he has to try. Surely the next loop will be the one that succeeds.

Summary
On a normal day, Spamton would’ve said that Tenna is chatty to a fault. Sure, it was one of his charms, but at the end of the day, a guy could only take so much. However, this wasn’t a normal day. He’d suspected something wasn’t quite right when Tenna had gone out of his way to avoid talking to him this morning.
Good thing CRTs have more than one way of communicating, especially when they happen to be the lifeblood of a Dark World that’s begun to fall apart at the seams.

After starting and losing a battle against Tenna in Castle Town and subsequently waking up in Tenna's house, he is quickly reminded of just how much he has changed for the worse. A reminder that forces him to re-examine how he feels about himself—both as a puppet and as NEO.

The sting of recent injury had only joined his eternally growing list of aches and pains: constant reminders of his age and obsolescence. Tenna was reluctant to admit to those unflattering signs of aging—but now he had someone in his clutches who could help put them to rest, even if only briefly.
That someone was Spamton. Curled up in Tenna's room, sweetly asleep and in possession of wonderful little angels, who loved to bestow much-needed healing on anyone who summoned them—and in the form of that affection which Tenna so guiltily coveted, no less.

“I sell cars,” Spamton had replied, back when Tenna was addressing him. “If you talk [Big] with nothing to back it up, people think you’re a hack.”
“Well,” Tenna said, “are you?”
Spamton sprayed the compressed air into his smug face.
That would have been preferable to drowning in insulation foam and getting licked clean by a clown (“HANDS OFF THE [[Officil Merchandise]]!!”). Jevil’s nuisance was missed as soon it was over though, because then all he had was the realization that that was his last chance. To do what, he isn’t sure. To demand an apology. To explain why he ran away. To scream at him. To break that stupid screen himself, just to get it over with, and crawl inside there never to emerge. Then at least they’d be together.
