Tony Stark lost his son and his Alpha in a faulty portal 18 years ago. He and his circle have been on Earth masquerading as superheroes, taking down Torvak cells, and trying to find them.
Peter Parker is managing just fine, thanks. He thinks he's finally got a handle on these weird spider powers, and with his paid internship at Oscorp, he and May can finally afford to pay their bills. So what if sometimes he sprouts wings and grows fangs? It's just a part of his mutation, right?
The last thing Harry Potter wants to do is track down an errant Reaper and kill yet another megalomaniac, but ever since he made a literal deal with Death in that forest, he's at her beck and call.
Wade Wilson would prefer it if everyone could just forget he existed so he could suffer his eternity in the little bit of silence he has left. And he's been doing a pretty good job of it on Earth. But apparently, that's not on Death's agenda.
Soldat doesn't know who he is, he just remembers his name: Bucky Barnes. At least he thinks that's what the cute little brunet is calling him in the few memories he has. If only he could remember his name, and why he feels like he desperately needs to find the kid from his dreams.

After Thanos and losing Mr. Stark, then Aunt May a few months later and erasing any memory of himself, Peter has finally settled into his new life. That was until Parker Luck struck again and he was dragged through a portal and landing in an unfamiliar city. However, Peter was good at dealing with whatever Parker Luck threw at him. He was Spider-Man, and he always got back up.
It's hard to get up when a crowbar is slammed against your face by a clown that wants to take you home.
Or: Another Peter in Gotham story, but instead of the Bats finding Peter, he meets the Joker first.
