Summary
Desperate for anything to focus on besides the building pleasure that begged for her to cry out, the Listener’s gaze settled on the crimson light reflected off the massive glass and metal depiction of Sithis on the far wall.
It was catching the faintest hint of the candlelight, winking back in sanguine fractals. The rest of the effigy was lost to the darkness, and in the span of one of the flickers she wondered if the Void was watching through the skeletal portrayal. Was the Dread Father sparing a moment to witness as two of his children both desecrated and sanctified one another? As the Keeper and the Listener- the most devoted and the chosen- made idols out of one another to both their borrowed and inborn divinity?

Leave. Your mind ordered you. You should leave. It would be wrong to stay. He was your commanding officer, your friend. It would be irresponsible to entangle yourself with a man like him. He was not the type to settle down. For men like him there was always another battle, another obstacle to overcome. He would never be able to offer peace outside of the brief times he would hold you in his arms.
However, as you continued to hold his gaze, you saw the dark clouds of hunger brewing as he pinned you to the spot with his intense look. The man you had wanted and loved for so long wanted you back. And, as loudly as the responsible part of your thoughts screamed at you to get out of there as fast as your feet could carry you, reminding you of all of the reasons you should, you found that they paled in comparison to the prospect before you. And, before you could consciously reply, your hands reached towards Erwin, eagerly grasping fistfuls of his shirt collar and jerking your bodies together as your lips crashed into his, a small voice in the back of your mind whispering, Stay.

It's a cool November night when you and Levi are paired together for the inspection of Wall Rose. There's a breach somewhere along its perimeter, but so far, no one has been able to locate it. When you and Levi find nothing out of the ordinary to report, you head back to Utgaurd Castle, where the Scouts are stationed for the duration of their mission. It's there that you find out you've been assigned to a room with the Captain himself, and the two of you do a whole lot more than just sleep... smut and love confessions ensue.

Zim would have never expected such a minor break upon a single corner of his PAK to cause such long-term mental and emotional suffering, but there he is stuck dealing with it. He guesses he should be thankful he’s at least alive, but it’s pretty hard when you’re made to endure a massive personality and perspective change.
