    “What are you talking about? Why were you swimming all the way out here? What’s with your weird clothes?” The Boy, whom I refuse to name on principle, starts rapid fire shooting out questions while wiggling his way across the tiny boat to me.

    “This is actually happening. Oh my god this is real, what the shit…” I turn around from my position on the floor to see The Boy crouched inches from my face. I give an undignified yelp and scramble as far back as I can without tipping over the edge.

    He gives me that bright grin and announces “I’m Monkey D. Luffy! I’m gonna be King of the Pirates!” Then he cocks his head to the side. “Who’re you?”

    When Izuku Midoriya is 13 years old he makes a post online about a hero, which results in that hero’s death. At first he’s horrified, but slowly comes to realize that having that sort of power gives him the chance to make a difference, the way he’s always wanted to. He knows better than anyone that society needs reshaping, so why not give it a push?

    As the years go by Izuku grows in power, until there are really only two people standing in his way: All Might, and All For One. It isn’t easy, but with the allies he gathers he’s sure to come out on top. They are The Worthless. But they won’t stay that way for long.

    The internship process is changed around. Instead of the usual week long Internships, students will spend 2 months interning under a Hero, with many more permissions than ordinary interns. Izuku receives an offer from the Number 7 hero, Miruko. This changes everything. Learning how to be more bold, learning to be more true to who he is, means every interaction from this point on changes.

    But the delay has led to some people gaining courage where they otherwise would be scorned. Enter a world where villains aren't just roadblocks in the story. Where they are threats, true and real, and every fight is one for survival. A world where 1-A makes an effort to soar just as far as Izuku, not content to fall behind.

    Izuku meets with Himiko Toga, just the first of the Lives he's changed. And in turn, she changes his life. Helps him realize some things. Namely, that He, may actually be a She.

    Basic Bats procedure probably shouldn't have him finding an anarchist hacktivist collective. And from there, Tim would probably judge him for some of the crime. But it's ethical, really, he’s just helping people. Some problems can’t be punched, no matter how much he might want them to be.

     

    Or, Skye meets an alien and is a terrible influence. Not that anyone could have expected the teenage run-away and cyber terrorist to be a good influence. No matter how much Skye might be trying to help people with those crimes. The chaos does make the world a better place, probably.

All while trying to figure out even which continuity he is part of and how he can make the best of it for himself. If he happens to help out a few teens along the way, break a few curses, spark debates on his humanity, and pick up a baby bird well… he's just fine with that so long as no one looks too close at his methods.

    A/N: I am going to try and include a lot of at least mention of canon events / fanon interpretations but as I haven't actually read most of the comics I make no promises.     Tim wakes up inexplicably in his two-year-old body. Which: odd. But just think, how many people would kill to have an opportunity to redo their life! And Tim has so much he wants to change, so much he wants. He wants to feel important to Bruce. He wants to be Dick's favorite. He wants Jason (his childhood hero) to think he's cool. He wants Damian to need him. And really, is it manipulation if his family benefits from it?

    Or: He was halfway through the second trash can, when a startled “Good lord” caught him off guard. Tim glanced up, the rhythmic sucking of his pacifier coming to a still at the sight of a black Rolls Royce idling at the side road that lead to Wayne Manor. Alfred was staring at him from the over the car top, aghast. “Master Bruce, it’s not a raccoon.”

    From the back seat, Bruce Wayne stared at him. Tim stared back.

    Or: Tim is side tracked by his actual childish needs and wants, gets a whole bunch of his nannies fired, terrorizes his parents with a series of petty revenges, is an honest employer of one (1) newly minted murderer for hire, endears himself to – and thoroughly weirds out – the Waynes, and is generally just a petty, manipulative, vindictive, smol boy.

    To be fair, though, when he wakes up after Siberia, he doesn't get much rest at all. There just isn't time for it, not when he's got the whole future to change.

    But perhaps everyone should’ve realised Harry didn’t come out of the Battle of Hogwarts as unchanged as he’d liked to have been either.

    An immortal Master of Death Harry experiences the rise of quirks (thanks to magic) and then misses out on the rest (thanks to himself), coming back to a world where the last traces of magic and the wizarding world completely died out, except for one equally green-eyed, quirkless teenager, experiencing the worst day of his life.

    Or, Harry doesn’t drop the Resurrection Stone during his death march through the Forbidden Forest, pocketing it instead. This changes things.
