No one ever thinks it’s going to happen to them. But it did, oh God it did, and it’s left him paralysed, unable to process, to breathe. He needs to breathe, can feel his body heating up, short-circuiting as the gasoline ignites. He could self-destruct, he could die and, at this moment, with pain taking over every inch of him, maybe that wouldn't be such a terrible thing. There'd be nothing. No pain, no phantom hands on his skin, no memories, just darkness. He doesn't want to die, doesn't want Hank to be alone, to suffer another loss. If he died it would be for good this time; there are no more RK800 vessels to be put in, they were destroyed after the uprising.

The question slips out of Hank’s lips and weighs heavy between them in the dim light of his kitchen at two in the morning. Two glasses of whiskey sit on the table, the better part of a bottle warming their bones, and Connor stares at the amber liquid like it could take him somewhere else.

Mr. Anderson’s been under for nearly three days when he utters his first waking word.
It’s a miracle Connor was in the room to even hear it, really. He’s just finished hanging a new bag of fluids and checking the IV pump when he hears the unmistakable wheeze and cotton-dry smack of a human who has woken up a few hours after having their intubation tube removed.
Mr. Anderson coughs roughly and shifts in bed, still sluggish as the last of the sedation wears off through the ongoing haze of morphine. He opens his pale eyes, looks directly at Connor still sitting on a rolling stool at the bedside, and rasps one hoarse word, firm and resolute: “Fuck.”

Summary
The roughness of the uneven terrain pulled Connor from his thoughts. He blinked a few times, adjusting his sights to the hotel in front of them. Hank was beside him, the small tremors in his fingers could be from the cold or their mission.
Connor preferred if they were nonexistent. The lieutenant hadn’t slept well in years, but these past few days had been worse than normal. The android figured it was their mission, it’d been the only thing to recently change.
“Hank,” Connor started, rolling the name on his tongue with some difficulty. Even after everything—The Revolution, deviancy, their friendship—Connor found it difficult to call the lieutenant by his first name, now more so that he had to. “You could’ve asked for a reassignment,” he said, cutting to the chase.
Hank shifted his gaze to Connor, his scowl softening before he spoke, “Homicide and Red Ice cases are my specialty, Con,” Hank sighed, “can’t just quit now ‘cause I’m a little uncomfortable,” he continued, a smile playing on his lips.

Connor has a rather interesting suggestion for his precocious pet Gavin, he wonders how Gavin will react.

Set sometime after the revolution or as an AU, Connor is a top and was delighted to meet Gavin though a BDSM dating app. He always thought that with a little special attention Gavin could be whipped into shape, and he was right.
A few months into their arrangement Connor proposes they hook up with an old work colleague (Hank). He even does Gavin the favour of describing how it would go down.

Connor refers to Gavin as 'Pup' or 'Puppy' this is just an affectionate nickname/ pet name, it's not full on pet play here.

It's three months after the androids peacefully revolted in Detroit, but it's anything but peaceful in Lt. Hank Anderson's head. Depression and hard-drinking have taken him over, especially now that the Android Personhood Act has legally declared that all androids are alive, and have equal rights under the constitution. What good does it do with Connor dead?
Then a homicide case lands on his desk. Androids being mutilated, murdered, and forced to do god-knows what else. The investigation is disturbing, but leaves Hank grasping to the hope that Connor is still alive, if in grave danger.
Whatever it takes, wherever he is, Hank will find him.

Black Ice, a dangerous new drug has spilled onto the streets of Detroit. More potent than Red Ice, it affects androids, too. All clues point to the main base of operations being within an exclusive, couples-only hotel. With no warrant forthcoming, it’s time to get serious and infiltrate.
Hank and Connor will need to pose as newlyweds, Connor exchanging the ring of his LED for a wedding ring. This means sharing a bed, dancing cheek-to-cheek, and public displays of affection to keep up the charade.
The trouble is knowing where the act stops and the real feelings begin.
