*** 5/29/2025: I am currently going through and updating some spelling and grammar issues throughout the fic, along with re-wording some things to help with the flow of it. I wrote this fic when I was 17 and in the last two years, my style has changed quite a bit in a way I feel is more comprehensive and I feel like it's time that I edit this. I'm also trying to get back into writing fics and I think this is a good first step. I'm hoping to perfect this as much as possible and make it worthy of the love it's received. So what happens when Barbatos goes missing, and the only sign that he is alive is the slow and steady beating of his gnosis, connected to the other archons'?
Or an AU where the Original Seven are still alive and never died, and judge Barbatos too harshly. But we still love them.
PS: as of the 2.6 update, which is the time I started writing this fanfic, we know nothing of the former archons thus why they might be ooc, but for the sake of the story, we're going to ignore it. I just changed the name of the Dendro Archon to her original one because, for those who will see this in the future, this fanfic wasn't posted when 3.0 came out, so it was easy for me to just put Rukkhadevata instead of Kusanali.
