Stuart visits Neil, asking about his past selves Stuart needs to burn traces of out of Ichirou's orders, ignoring Andrew's obvious disapproval. Andrew's lot find out more than they bargained for. Stuart then takes the chance, asking for the trust from the nephew he has never truly met.
Andrew will never like Stuart but he knows that if he was to burn the world for Neil, Stuart would be there with the gasoline.

He's not entirely sure how Andrew managed to convince the others to let them go off, but he hadn't asked, too thankful for the support. Andrew had visibly hesitated as Neil had crouched slightly in invitation, but just as Neil was going to suggest an alternative, Andrew's expression had hardened and he'd clambered onto Neil's back.
“Staring,” Neil mutters now, in an effort to think about something else.
“I hate you,” Andrew returns, and for whatever reason it's enough to calm his nerves, even if only somewhat.
Then the door opens, and Neil sees who walks in through the door, because he'd chosen a seat with a view of the door for this exact reason, not to mention his lingering paranoia—

Hayden’s eyes flickered to Shane as he sat on the bench, chewing on the edge of his mouth guard.
“Don’t fucking look at him,” Ilya insisted as he bent down for the faceoff.
“Excuse me?” Hayden mumbled, eyes darting back to him.
“You heard me,” he retorted, his tone clipped. “He’s not your teammate anymore; he’s mine. If you think Marlow is a problem to your game, wait until you see what I will do to your team if you hurt anyone on mine again.”
Hayden scoffed, dipping his head as he tried to focus on the game. Something about Ilya’s words still rang through his head though, sounding so definitive that he didn’t want to risk seeing what he was actually referring to when he said that.
The puck dropped again, and Ilya stole it before he could comprehend how quickly it happened.
