Jonathan is still unsure about the details, but at some point, Damian’s smiles turned to seem brighter rather than sardonic, his usually sarcastic comments now sounded like alluringly teasing, and the annoyed look he would get whenever Jon would score at soccer –because they usually would play at opposite teams during practice– would seem less annoying and rather endearing and downright adorable.
Jon is too busy being lost in his thoughts that he does not notice his dad calling his name until his mom shakes a hand in front of him to grab his attention.
“Jon… darling?” his mom says, and Jon lifts his gaze to find that the three of them are looking at him with matching expectant looks.
“Huh?”
“I asked if you wanted some water, Kent”
Or
Five times Damian's siblings realized Jon had a massive crush on their little brother and decided to turn it into a betting pool.

See, Tim wasn’t unfamiliar with casual sex. He was just fine with it and Damian, now that he was older, had his own experience under his belt, too. What Tim wasn’t familiar with, however, was the heavy weight of emotions that came with sleeping with Damian.
Damian’s need for praise, if you asked Tim, went far beyond a simple kink. It was an aching need, a sort of desperate desire clawing the younger apart from the inside.

Damian grumbles low under his breath as he makes his way towards the manor’s parlor, his pre-written speech full of complains and the like regarding his family already memorized as he pushes the parlor’s door open and greets the odd Shakepearean worthy scene before his eyes.
It’s far from their typical Thursday, Damian will give them that, but then there’s only one explanation left.
“Oh, no.” Damian sighs from the door, dropping his shoulders in both exasperation and exhaustion. “Who died this time?”
(Or the one where Damian Wayne crosses the country after a failed kidnapping to get back to his family and they all believe he's dead again. He's well aware that his skills and stuborness are not appreciated enough.)
