Not that it really bothered you. If you had your way you’d be more than happy barely skating by, locked away in your apartment, and sinking your days into video games.
The gas leak on your floor had other plans. Your apartment exploded. A huge fiery ball of destruction, though fortunately not death, laid waste to everything precious to you. Every console, every collector's edition, every level grinded, gone, in one fell swoop.
As if by fate, only a week later, you were offered a job homeschooling the now teenaged monster ambassador, Frisk Dreemurr. Room and board were included in your pay, you could finally put your degree in education to use, and most importantly, you were sure royalty had the fastest Wi-Fi money could buy.
The very extensive non-disclosure agreement their lawyer had you sign raised a few red flags, but you had more than a lifetime of experience ignoring them.
Whatever happened, happened. You were just excited to see what it’d be.

Twenty-three years you spent raising your siblings into weapons just as Mother raised you. Many nights you held them as they cried their guilt into your shirt, promising you’d bear the weight of their sins for them.
Ten years you spent completely and utterly alone with nothing but your books and Mother’s cruelty.You didn’t know who you were. You knew who you loved and what you’d done. You knew what you were capable of and you knew what you wanted.
When Mother told you that you had a guest to entertain, you felt sick. There was no leaving this place, all you could do is make their stay as comfortable as possible.
Perhaps, if you did a good enough job, they’d like to be your friend.
EDIT: Gonna do some editing of this. It was super rushed and there are a few parts that definitely need to be reworked.

Wash, rinse, repeat. The same repetitive, monotonous thing replaying every single day.One day, you do the same thing. On that same day, you don't notice that an insanely huge skeleton has tumbled out of your closet. Now, as you deal with a rather colorful assortment of otherworldly skeletons continuously popping into your house, the outside world in which you interact finds itself bending and breaking in retaliation.
One thing's for certain: these guys shouldn't be here, and it's in your best interest to show them their way out.
...But, of course. It wouldn't hurt to get to know them a little, would it?
