The rarer the piece, the more coveted it is. For those in the business of war, the powerful Odazaen mechs left behind are prizes worth more than a little bloodshed to acquire, and an entire mech hunting industry exists to supply these demands. Finding mechs hidden away in ruins isn’t a guarantee, especially when it’s so much easier to hunt down those who have already done the hard work to dig up said machines. And with the unique abilities of the Storlayacas, they become targets that hunters are unwilling to pass up on.

Summary
The hunt for a very specific Hyttan artifact is a simple but slow process, and so the crew of the Pelekys decide to seek out other distractions while carrying out their mission. Their Kith audience has been bereft of more character driven content as of late, and so the crew is more than willing to provide. Leviathan hunts and expeditions to Hyttan ruins provide scenic backdrops to their escapades, but the real magic happens behind the camera, where their audience can’t see.

A chance for camaraderie and a chance to show off their skills is too great a temptation to pass up, and so the two crews enter a racing competition taking place in the wilds of uncharted space. The first place prize is something more valuable than monetary wealth - it’s knowledge, specifically about the workings of the Thalatte Stratocracy’s armed forces, a prize too tempting for either crew to pass up.

Which is already concerning. What’s more concerning is the sound next to me.I turn my head.
There is a woman.
Also naked.We stare at each other like two people who have been placed in the wrong save file.
Neither of us remembers how we got here.When she asks if I know who she is.
I say no.
She says “good,” which is objectively the worst possible response, because apparently she also has no idea who I am.So just to recap: unknown location, unknown woman, zero memories, maximum problems.

Who Spider-Woman really is, and what exactly the job entails.
This fic is only slightly more graphic than all the Spider-Man movies (apart from the *Optional* sex scenes) so if you were good with the movies, you'll be good with this. I personally don't do well with gore, so the it's *very* minimal. The most extreme it gets is just the descriptions of environments after a fight with blood in certain places.
No, the "Major Character Death" tag is not for Gwen, in case that was a worry for anyone.
This is my first ever FanFic, so if you see any mistakes, kindly let me know and I'll work them out. I hope you enjoy it! <3
