Towering trees with leaves of silver and gold stretch into the heavens, their trunks glowing faintly with an inner light. A gentle breeze carries the scent of flowers so fragrant it borders on intoxicating.
Before him stands not one figure, but two.
Nanami's breath catches as he takes in their forms. The first is tall and ethereal, with eyes like glimmering cerulean that seem to pierce through to his very soul. White hair messily falls over his forehead, and a playful yet unsettling smirk graces his lips.
The second stands just as tall, his presence equally commanding. His raven-black hair frames a face of serene intensity, his amber eyes watching Nanami with quiet interest. Where the first exudes chaotic energy, the second is a steady, grounding force.
Two gods.
Nanami's mind races as realization dawns. The elders had told him there was one god, a god. They had failed to mention that he would be bound to both.
in order to save his students from being offered as bride to a god – nanami offers himself up instead. too bad he doesn’t realize that instead of becoming the bride of one god - it’s two.

For a moment, the warehouse was nothing but the soft crackle of ice continuing its slow, fractal advance across steel and concrete. The king’s tail shifted almost imperceptibly, coils tightening beneath it, shifting and turning in knots without beginning or end.
Then, it hummed, the sound resonating through the ice forming steadily around Red Robin’s feet. “It activated the moment an offering was made.”
Red’s breath shuddered out of his lungs. “...What offering?” he asked, the question dragged from between chattering teeth. He really, really did not want the answer. But he needed to know.
The king’s gaze hadn’t wavered from Red Robin once since it’d been summoned.
He didn’t have a good feeling about this.
