Lloyd looks up at him, then down at the hot chocolate. He sets the mug down and pushes it away from him, as if to try and show that he doesn't care that much, then straightens to be more serious. "Not as good as Zane's," Lloyd says critically, "…but a pretty good effort. I doubt you'll ever be on his level, but I'll accept it."
Jay scoffs. "Wow, okay, very honest. Ouch." He says. "Give it a rating, then. Out of ten."
Lloyd gives him a look, as if daring him. "Six."

Not long after the final battle against Straka, Torse's homeworld is besieged by a torrential downpour and his people begin succumbing to possession by the restless dead. His only solace, as he and his comrades search for the Corrodi remnants they believe to be the culprits, is the crystal telephone gifted to him by Marya before they parted.
He soon learns that crystal telephone is key to protecting himself from possession. Perhaps, with the aid of Maxwell and Marya's beloved protégés, Torse can discover the key to breaking the curse drowning three planets.

Summary
Perhaps it was the Zood Switcheroo, reaching back through the Calefactory Biangle and befrumpled time. Perhaps it was another inexplicable phenomenon that, if they had known of it, they would have given an equally inexplicable name.
As it is, Torse (a step out of time since birth, a warrior in a family of alleged gentlemen, a lonely soul with not much to lose) pushes through the doors of Ramansu temple with the Wind Riders at his heels.
Among the chaos and eviscerated bankers, they find another one made of clockwork, a clue tucked in the recesses of his metal mind.
If the trail of Comfrey MacLeod is made of stolen memory cards and impending financial ruin, then they are honour-bound to follow it. And if there is more to Max than meets the eye, then Torse is all too eager to heed the call to adventure.Bookmarked by acidsplash

Summary
Love is something that happens in Maxwell’s favourite stories. It’s something bigger than the whole world and it stretches his imagination out past dusty pages and trimmed lawns to a sky overflowing with possibility. It blooms in the most unexpected places and it is always a good thing.
But love cannot bloom in a barren bed, and the Gotch family tree is withered and blighted and loveless. If only Maxwell were clever enough to realise that it’s hopeless, then perhaps it wouldn’t hurt so much.

“I believe you mean ’Sir Lance,’” Lance serenely replies, not turning to acknowledge who just walked into his tent. His squire is still fastening his armor, after all; no point hindering her progress just for the charade of civility that neither one of them mean anyway.
“And I believe you should be addressing me as ‘Your Highness,’” comes the retort, rather unexpectedly. Lance usually gets away with his little mockeries. Perhaps today isn’t the day to push things.
Not that that will really stop Lance from trying. He turns his head just enough to spare a cool glance over his shoulder. “Courtesy begets courtesy.”
Prince Keith’s jaw visibly twitches as he grinds his teeth. “Sir Lance.”

Sir Lance has no intention of claiming the grand prize and enters solely to irritate Prince Keith. Things don’t quite go according to plan, though.

This is not a good idea.
The Doctor can’t help the little voice in the back of his head that tells him that he should be focusing on the ships up in the sky. The problem is that when he tries to focus on the ships up in the sky, that little voice tells him that he should be focusing on Asset 342, because Asset 342 is linked to all of this somehow.
Asset 342 knows something, at least, of the same stories that the Doctor does. That can’t be a coincidence, and in it not being a coincidence, it has to be relevant.
Or maybe he just wants it to be relevant.
The Master manages to escape in the Power of the Doctor, and his TARDIS takes him to Earth, where UNIT finds him weak and injured. Several months later, the Doctor starts hearing whispers of a new asset at UNIT.

She stands behind him, hands on his shoulder, ensuring he looks at their reflections as she emphasizes her next words. “You’re beautiful, Tim. A beautiful girl.”
Or, Tim has always been in denial about who he is. But when he needs to dress as a girl for an undercover mission, Cass realizes her truth, and makes sure she can't escape from it anymore.
