Summary
Liam steps closer again, his frustration simmering. “You go off 'round the world, playin' rock star, and suddenly you're too tired for me?”
“That’s not fair.”
“Oh, we’re talkin’ ‘bout bein’ fair now?”
Scoffing, Damon sets the glass down with more force than necessary. “Fine, yes! Because you know what’s really not fair? You assuming the only reason I’d want to see you is to end up wrecked for the next two days!”
Or;
In the early 90s (before Oasis blew up and before Blur released Modern Life Is Rubbish), Liam and Damon were... something. And then they are nothing, which neither of them really wants. But that's what bad communication and a need for emotional growth do to a ‘relationship.’
Life and angst and yearning ensue. -

Summary
“Good thing,” he starts, expression smug as anything, “I had a spiritual premonition ‘bout this.”
Damon cracks one eye open. “You did not.”
“I did,” Liam insists. “That’s why I bought candles.”
He gestures grandly towards the bag still sitting near the door, like he has just saved them from certain doom rather than mild inconvenience.
Damon snorts despite himself. “You bought them because you wanted to flirt.”
“Two birds,” Liam says. “One very romantic stone.”
Or;
Damon and Liam get away for a holiday, so they can see the sun (rain). -

Summary
“I ain’t fuckin’ you on heroin.”
The words land harder than Damon expects, and he just stares at him.
Of all the reactions he has imagined from people, this one wasn’t even on the list. Not from Liam Gallagher anyway. Not from someone who lives like a headline and laughs at lines instead of staying on one side of them.
Justine has never cared. No one else has, either. If anything, it’s usually the opposite, an unspoken agreement, a shared haze, a mutual decision to blur the edges of the night.
Damon feels something twist in his chest, sharp and confusing.
“Why?” he asks, genuinely baffled, the word slipping out before he can stop it.
Or;
Liam kisses him and then Justine gets Damon on heroin when he's mentally unwell and things evolve from there. -

Summary
“Sometimes,” he starts quietly, “I hug you tighter than usual because... because I remember that if there’s an infinite amount of universes, then… then there’s one where we never ended up together.”
Damon blinks up at him, listening.
Liam keeps going, voice soft, almost not his own. “And so I hold you a little longer, ‘cause I’m grateful I exist in the one where I got to fall in love with you.”
Or;
Liam has been watching Damon overwork himself and eventually steps in with a massage and laid bare emotions. -

Summary
The realisation hits hard enough to sober him a little.
If this crosses the line, there is no script for what comes next. No rules, no safety net disguised as necessity. Just desire, naked and complicated and mutual. And he wants it so bad.
Liam stops.
He’s so close Damon can feel his breath against his mouth. The pause stretches, loaded and aching.
“I can’t,” Liam whispers, voice rough.
Damon nods, he doesn’t argue, doesn’t pretend not to understand.
“Yeah,” he says. “Me neither.”
Or;
Damon suspects something is off with Liam and ends up entangled in vampirism while Noel just tries to keep everything and everyone together.
