Waking up to Sanji is like waking up to the sun every morning, no matter the weather. He wraps all his limbs around you and buries his face in your neck and holds you as though there is no tomorrow.
You know the Grand Line is terrifying, that the only thing that can be expected is the unexpected, a thought that is unlikely to ever be a comfort.
You don't want to stay behind. You want to go on and have adventures with these people who seem too good to be true.
So maybe that means leaving behind everything you know. It's a deal you're willing to make.

Tartaglia’s fork stops mid-way to his mouth, blue eyes shining hesitantly, taking in how no one else is eating.
“Forgive me,” he says, having realised his mistake. “I am so used to—”
“Your apology is not necessary. Many a time, I have asked this table not to wait for me to eat first.” Diluc’s mouth quirks up in amusement. “It is nice to have someone do just that.”
Diluc nods his head to encourage Tartaglia to continue eating, raising his own forkful. Together, they take their first bite.

To Akaashi, volleyball was not much more than a hobby. He did what was expected of him: arrive on time, work decently hard, and leave as soon as practice was over. But, as he watched number twelve celebrate his point with his team, Akaashi could see that changing. Number twelve's enthusiasm, his determination, his light, was contagious. He could see it in the way it affected Fukurodani, boosting their own moods, encouraging them to work harder, and he could feel it affecting himself.
There was just something about number twelve that sparked a fire in Akaashi, a passion that he'd never felt before.
Distantly, Akaashi realized he was staring. He couldn't bring himself to pull his gaze away.
