Summary
Vincent Whittman — or Father Whittman as the people of New Orleans know him — is driven to temptation as his fixation on a local radio host grows to something tangible. A radio host of whom he never believes he’ll actually meet, until one day is given the opportunity by his agent, Rosalina Calavera, hoping to create connections with his image and the church after an onslaught of Satanic rumors.
Vincent's interest spirals into obsession as he falls into the snares of Alastor Daveau, each trap methodically set to lead him to his jaws, because under the cover of darkness Alastor Daveau and Rosalina Calavera hide an even darker secret. A vampiric secret.
Their relationship begins with flesh and desire, but Alastor cannot bring himself to bite. And Vincent, caught between salvation and damnation is lost to what he truly wants, even more terrified at the fact it may simply be Alastor.
Or: Vincent is a priest and wants Alastor BAD. Alastor is a vampire and wants to eat him. Rosie watches from the bleachers cheering on their labyrinthian romance.

Akane knew that it didn’t make a difference to Teru whether it was his choice or not, it hurt him all the same. With that in mind, he never expected him to be so forgiving, even with a catch. He’s still struggling to wrap his head around that part, as some things about Teru remain a mystery to him.
In his current situation, however, Akane is more concerned with the aforementioned catch.
“You look pale.”
“I thought that was the goal.”
A hand touches his face, scarred but soft. “I didn’t bring you here to scare you.”
Akane glares. “That’s the cherry on top for you.”

This is that story. The story of failure, tragedy, loss, desperation. The story of obsession, of atonement, of determination. The story of pain for a higher end, and suffering for suffering's sake. The story of a buisness.
And the story of the many lives it destroyed.
