Summary
It’s a sleepless night when Bucky hears a loud bang in the apartment above him. He tells himself he is going upstairs to make sure no one is breaking in, not that he is worried for his neighbor. He pushes away the thought of hoping someone would break in, just so he can get into a fight to tire him out.
Reaching his neighbors door, Bucky knocks softly. He doesn’t want to disturb anyone. He listens intently, trying to filter out any noise not coming from the apartment. He knocks again, louder this time, wondering if he made the sound up. He hears another loud thud, followed by a groan that sounded a lot like someone was in pain. Without a second thought, Bucky steps back and kicks the door open. He stumbles into his neighbor's apartment and is almost shocked by what he finds.

Summary
First-year Garrison cadet Keith Kogane stands out like a shark in a tidal pool. Ruthless. Explosive. Focused. Rude. The other cadets can’t beat him, so they try to take him down any way they can.
Despite the constant churning of rumors and accusations surrounding Keith, Senior Officer Takashi Shirogane offers to mentor him, showing the boy kindness and patience. Slowly, Keith is drawn out of his defensive shell. Slowly, he learns to trust Shiro.
But time is running out.
Tonight, the Garrison will be infiltrated by a group of anti-space militants and Shiro is at the top of their hit list. Unfortunately for them, Keith isn’t even on their radar. And there is no way in hell he is letting his friend die tonight.

With a burst of steam, the pod disengaged. Keith wobbled out, falling to his knees, gasping for air. The air felt too thin, too sharp, too real. His side throbbed with a dull ache and he found himself reaching for it. He could feel again.
“Keith!”
He looked up, it was Allura calling him.
“Goodness Keith! You’re finally awake!” She reached for him, helping him stand on his shaky legs, “I must call the others. Come, sit.”
And he remembered.
“Lance…” his voice rasped out in the quiet med bay.
The memories weren’t whole. Not yet. But he knew one thing.
Lance had stayed, Lance had helped him, Lance had been hurt.
“Allura, where's Lance?”

After a mission gone wrong, Keith is left injured and spends days in a pod. Lance has convinced himself that it is his fault and that there was more he could've done to prevent this. When Keith awakens, he only remembers fragments from the incident and over time, the full memory slowly comes back to him. Lance keeps his distance.

“Im hurt.” He blurts out, hands clenching tight as he does his best to not look weaker than he feels.
He can hear Lance freeze than turn to him, his armor clattering as he leans over and places a hand on his cheek to inspect the bruise.
It’s a long one, covering his cheekbone and stretching up to the side of his forehead. Purple and splotches of green.
OR, Keith gets a head injury that he can’t quite bounce up from like the last ones.

Lance’s eyebrows furrow in concern for a second before his whole face goes gentle and open.
“Hey buddy, everything okay?”
Keith nods. Then shakes his head, then opens his mouth to let out a noisy sob before he’s hugging the air out of Lance, grip vise tight.
Lance hugs him back. That’s one of the great things about him— he doesn’t— he doesn’t need explanations for things like this. He doesn’t make Keith jump through hoops, the way other people might— he’s just— he just knows what Keith needs in times like this. No façades, no posturing.
(Or: the one where Keith is trapped in a time loop. A time loop from hell.)

Summary
Lance thought everything would be better once he found his resolve. Once he was finally able to get his shit together and stop antagonizing Keith 24/7. He thought once he got his emotions under control they'd finally be able to move past their differences, work together as a team, see eye-to-eye on something for once.
But he'd never been great at anticipating Keith's reactions to, well... anything, really.
After crash landing on an isolated planet with no way of contacting the castle for rescue, Lance is forced to face the repercussions of ignoring the red paladin for an entire month. After everything he'd put Keith through, after everything Keith had put him through... they can put aside petty feelings of jealousy, envy, and loneliness long enough to stay alive for rescue, right?

Peter seems to remember who he is, his name, his losses, his responsibility as the 'friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man', but everything that led to this moment? That led to being stranded in this foreign place? Half-remembered and hastily stitched together.
Gotham is colder than New York, the faces are unfamiliar, the skyline jagged and grim, and the heroes... strange and foreign.
He is haunted by visions of a dour, inescapable green; his memories muddled and vague. He knows he needs to get his narrative in order, needs to remember it properly, but now Peter has garnered the unwanted attention of Gotham's idolised protectors. And try as he might, he cannot seem to shake them off.

Or Dick thinks he's hallucinating a very real Jason and invites the "hallucination" home. Jason thinks his brother is being freakishly calm, but hey, he's being accepted as he is so he doesn't care.
