As he repeated this as his mantra, the door of the operating room opened and a doctor came out of it. Chifuyu straightened in his chair and waited for the man to talk. His face was impassive and he looked exhausted.
“Is it for Takemichi Hanagaki?” He looked at all of them, who nodded vehemently. “He is out of danger and will need a lot of rest.” He sighed tiredly. “Right now, the anaesthesia’s effects still have to fade away and he needs to recover from the surgery. You can see him tomorrow without a problem.”
Takemichi takes the blow to save Baji. He survives, but having talked too much he reveals the truth about the time leap to Chifuyu and Baji. They decide to help him and do their best while he recovers.
Blossoming feelings, fragile wounds, a mission to save their future selves and a menacing Kisaki will put the first division captain and vice-captain through hard times and they will have to find a perfect balance to not break out.
But at least they’re together.
