He lets them take out the frustrations on him. Encourages it really, because people need an outlet for their anger, and Lance has always been the best at making people angry at him.
(And if his heart twinges a little every time he has to let someone be particularly mean to him, then he just has to remember that this is what he's good at. What he's good for.)
But Lance is an older brother, and an uncle, and a younger brother. He learned sometimes keeping people means sacrificing his own feelings for a bit. He's been taught that he can't always let his feelings take a back seat though. After all, what happens if the rock falls apart?
So, while Lance is always prepared to be the enemy on any given day, there are certain days and certain things that he will not let fly.

No matter the cost. With help from a newly discovered species called Humans, a Galra halfbreed rebel, and the Altean counselor woken with them, the rebellion and Voltron might have a fighting chance.
If only things were that simple.

(AU where Avians (winged folk), Galra, humans and merfolk cohabit earth. Shiro and Keith are avian soldiers, Lance is the youngest son of a Queen, Hunk is also a merman and Pidge is still looking for her family. They get caught up in a war.)

However, not all opinions are positive, and once Marinette takes Ladybug's side in the debate, the class ends up dividing itself on the matter completely.
Questions are asked, seats are changed, and Marinette gets an idea of her own: if no one else will step up for Ladybug, she will, and she'll make a blog herself in order to do so.
As friends come and go, a crush is crushed, new heroes are considered, and Marinette is able to clear her mind to focus on the more important things in her life.
