Summary
There is no simple way to confess to someone what he wants. No way to articulate his need to be touched so deeply that his soul is laid bare and still-beating on the outside of his chest. The need to be known and fully understood without having to rely on his words to bridge the gaps. They always seem to fail him anyway.
Despite it all, Alex doesn’t actually have a problem with himself, nuances and inconsistencies and all. It’s everyone else that seems to never quite know what to do with it. How to handle him just right.
But, God. What he wouldn't give for someone that could.

Alex grins up at him, stretching his arms above his head and making Henry wish he could sink back down and cuddle until they fall asleep. “You’re welcome, baby. We still on for next week?”
“Same time, same place,” Henry agrees.
“Sweet,” Alex says. He sits up, abdominals clenching with the easy movement, and Henry watches unashamedly while he gathers his clothes from the reading chair in the corner of Henry’s bedroom. “I aim to astonish. Take care of yourself until I can come and take care of you myself, okay?”
Henry can’t help but smile. “Thank you, Alex.”

Summary
That day at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, Alex comes across the very same Prince Henry who just dismissed him having a panic attack in a bathroom. The choice Alex makes then has ripple effects neither of them could have ever expected. What's the story like, when they actually are friends all along?

Summary
In the wake of the dragon's escape, Morgana is missing and Uther is running Arthur and his knights ragged with fruitless searching. As the hunt continues, Merlin must come to terms with his growing feelings for Arthur, his discomfort at the way Arthur throws himself into danger in order to prove himself to his father, and his suspicion that Morgause may not be as evil as he'd once thought. Just as things begin to fall into place, a revelation about Gwen's past throws the court into turmoil, causing Uther's rage to spiral out of control. Yusuf chokes on water and Nicolo pounds his back, eyebrows peaked with concern.
“I—” Yusuf pauses, wiping his streaming eyes.
Sarwa looks at him, nothing but mild curiosity on her face.
Yusuf glances at Nicolo. The firelight paints his cheekbones flickering gold, his eyes hooded and sleepy in the dim light.
“I don’t know what he is,” Yusuf finally admits, still looking at Nicolo.
Nicolo’s mouth quirks and he takes another bite of soup.
“He looks at you like you belong to him,” Sarwa says.
Nicolo keeps eating, oblivious to what they’re saying.
“I think he belongs to me too,” Yusuf whispers.

Summary
With Camelot readying for the upcoming gathering of rulers of the Southern Kingdoms to discuss peace, Uther has tasked Arthur with an additional duty: befriend the Prince of Essetir and learn anything he can of King Balinor, and of magic, and of dragons, that might be of interest should the treaty not succeed.
That's easier said than done, as he and Prince Merlin don't exactly hit it off immediately. But, befriending Merlin and learning of magic and life in Essetir leads Arthur down the paths of discovering long held secrets surrounding his own birth, and his mother's ill health, and his father's hatred of all things magic.
Adding even more complications to the mix are rowdy knights, frustrating princesses, a possible traitor in their midst, and an overly-verbose dragon; not to mention the burgeoning and peculiar feelings for his fellow prince that Arthur struggles to put a name to.
