Wilbur shivered against the wind, burying farther into his coat as he paced down the alley, his beanie pulled low over his ears. The past few days have been a lot cooler than the typical summer weather, partly because summer is quickly coming to an end. So he layered on his favorite sweater atop a white blouse and vest, with his trench coat over all of it, along with his beanie and gloves. It was way above freezing, just a typical fall chill, but Wilbur felt so… so… cold.
The door creaked open, revealing Techno’s stone-cold face staring right at the king. Wilbur bristled. Techno remained silent as he let the man inside, but his expression put more chills down Wilbur’s spine than the wind did.
“Wilbur,” a harsh voice spoke up, coming from the living room. Wilbur waved casually, eyes falling briefly over the entire group gathered in the living room. “Nice of you to finally show up.”
