Here lie Lee Minho's emotions, buried deep in a coffin nailed shut with steel. It's an unmarked grave, because Minho's much more comfortable pretending they don't even exist.
By his side is Jisung, who leans into him with laughter in his throat and mouth shaped into a hearty smile. They have been friends for a decade, are much more than that—at least they should be. Not many friends kiss when they are bored and look at each other like they do—
But who knows?

Seungmin flipped the coin in the air, and as soon as it landed in his palm, he slapped it onto the back of his other hand without revealing it.
Minho eyed his two friends warily. “Wait, what’s the punishment if I guess wrong?”
“You have to ask someone out on a date in front of us,” Changbin said.

Summary
Chan had a history of clinging to things only when he risked losing them. It wasn’t healthy, but lots of things about him weren’t healthy. If an old shirt developed a hole, he wore it for a week straight before finally throwing it in the trash. It used to make Felix laugh, make him unbearably fond.
He wondered how long he had left being clung to, the old shirt that Chan was on the verge of throwing away. He wondered if it would hurt more to be cut off entirely, or if this agonising lingering was worse.

Those are the orders the boss of the Eight Stars Mob gave Changbin when he commanded him to take his only surviving son and escape from Incheon before they could both be killed in the coup on their clan. They’re the orders that Changbin repeats now, hidden in a forgotten house in the Jeolla countryside with no one but Han Jisung for company.
But Jisung is moody and irritable and he seems to be on a one-man mission to destroy Changbin’s very last nerve. Whether either of them will make it out of this alive is something that’s entirely up in the air – if only because Changbin thinks he’s close to killing Han Jisung himself.

Jisung’s attempt at a laugh is weak, watery, and miserable. “I don’t like girls, hyung,” he says.
“That’s okay,” Chan says. “Neither do I. Neither do a couple of other folks whose names I can’t just give out.”
Jisung burrows into his shoulder. He whispers the next words into Chan’s throat. “But I don’t...I don’t like boys, either.”
And, oh. Chan didn’t see this coming. He bets there’s a word for it, for this orientation, this identity, but it’s not one he knows. Not in Korean, for certain, and probably not in English, either. But that doesn’t matter, because right now, Jisung doesn’t need a specific word. He just needs Chan, needs acceptance, needs to know it’s all going to be okay.

Jisung's never exactly been the studious type. Sure, he's smart in his own way, but that doesn't necessarily transfer over to the kind of intelligence that the education system relies on. Tired of struggling after his first semester, he takes his friend up on the advice of actually using the school library to work.
Enter Lee Minho, with his soft hair and pretty voice and his eyes that hold the galaxies in them. If he was only pretty, Jisung might've gotten away with just a fleeting crush. Unfortunately for him, Minho is funny and kind and quickly figures out that the fastest way to Jisung's heart is through his stomach-- and by being an attentive friend.

Or Alternatively: Donghyuck thinks the boy who sits on top of his car outside the convenience store is cute even if he almost breaks the rearview mirror trying to get on the roof.
