Summary
Tommy has no memory below the age of nine - that's normal, right?
Living with a family that's equal parts loving as it is smothering, in a gated community where the neighbors are too far apart to be nosey or nice, and are well protected by the country's top security, he never thought there were any problems. At least, not until he managed to encounter one of his semi-nosey, but ultimately nice, neighbors.
At the age of fourteen, the young avian starts to question if maybe something big happened in those nine years that his family's not telling him.

When Tommy Innes was seven years old, he committed his first act of rebellion.
Following in his parents' footsteps, he turns his back on his magic, shutting it away for a void promise. The memory of the day he came home with a story of a broken bird being moulded back together with a touch from his hands, being sat down and begged to never heal ever again, too fresh in his mind to back down on.
Tommy Innes was twelve years old when he shattered that vow for the life of another, stitching broken skin back together with the glow of his fingertips.
Now, sixteen years old, he breaks that promise every day, a new, stronger pledge in place. One that promises the life of others above his own.

Somehow Tommy became an underground healer for criminals... But really, who can blame him? Money was hard to come across and it paid more than working in retail!
Although he really hoped he could stay on the side of simply fixing up a small time vigilante every so often, but his plans eventually got smashed into pieces the moment he came across a particularly annoying supervillain bleeding out in an alley.
It suddenly changed everything and staying hidden from heroes was becoming harder with each day.

"Soo..." Tommy copied childishly, easily annoying the elder. The piglin huffed and rolled his eyes, but it was more fond than not.
"Boys," Phil interrupted the two. "I know we're all *terrific* at avoiding the topic at hand… but we do have to ask Tommy what's going on." Tommy was more surprised that all of them were subject to his stern fatherly glare, as if to say to the three to act their age and have a mature conversation. It was more surprising that they had started to be mature, honestly.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
