The moment Percy handed Luke the knife, he knew it was over. Even before he saw sky blue cloud the gold, he knew he'd made the wrong choice. Knew, from the way those golden eyes stared in utter desolation, that it was over. And then the blade sliced upwards, and he was on the ground, Annabeth's yells and Grover's brays dull and ringing in his ears. His head turned, and he watched Luke stand.
Watched him kill them both.
Watched them die.
Met his eyes as the golden haired man knelt, taking his hand while the blue eyed boy watched them, lips quirked in satisfaction. Fields of corn greeting rain. The ocean meeting sand.

Percy Jackson has to leave yet another school, but that's the least of his troubles as the gods he prays to become a little more real than just his belief system. He's been tasked with retuning Zeus's master lightning bolt, and it only gets worse from there. His only saving grace is that Hera is more then willing to fight her husband and argue in the boy's favor as a gift for being devoted like his mother, Sally Jackson, with many prayers and offerings.
(AKA: In which, Hera is not a bitch for once and actually good at her job, Hestia loves her niblings, Sally is a BAMF and a wonderful Mom, and Hera looks at the unclaimed kid and says "It's free real estate".)

There are so many questions to ask, and Izumi Midoriya, a girl with bright green eyes and dark green hair, thinks that she doesn't quite want to know the answers. Can she be good if all that she comes from is bad?
Shouta Aizawa has a chance encounter with a young vigilante who, for better or for worse, seems to have more potential in her pinkie finger than his entire class at Yuuei. Of course, she turns out to be a problem child who refuses to accept help for anything, and insists that she isn't worth wasting his time on. He's set on proving her wrong.
However, things start to become confusing the more Aizawa runs into her-just what is her Quirk, and why does she insist it's evil? Shouta doesn't know, but he's certain of one thing: he refuses to let her potential go to waste. Everything would just go so much smoother if she wasn't doing gymnastics using the line between 'legal' and 'illegal' as a balance beam.
