Mike Ross is not okay.
He works too much, sleeps too little, and keeps moving because stopping means thinking, and thinking means feeling. Eventually, the noise gets louder, so he finds other ways to cope.
Through it all, Mike is very good at pretending he's fine. At becoming whatever the people around him need him to be.
Until he isn't.
Until he becomes a liability. Something people will eventually get tired of dealing with. Something small and insignificant that will get crushed sooner or later—by the lies, the mistakes, by everything he's done and didn't do.
And Mike thinks that's what he deserves.
But there's one person he still wants to believe won't give up on him. One person he wants to notice all the things Mike desperately wants him to ignore.
Because, deep down, Mike doesn't want to end up broken and useless, like a bug on the ground. Bugs, who crawl into places they aren't supposed to be, who get underfoot, who get in the way—who keep showing up where nobody wants them.
And Mike has always been a little like that.
He just doesn't know how to stop. And he's never been particularly good at asking for help.

“Just an interview would be good,” Peter said, clearing his throat. “I’m mostly a photographer, not sure I’ve got the interrogator qualifications.”
“Photographer, hmmm. . .well, I can definitely think of a few things you could take a picture of -” Deadpool started, then stopped, lenses narrowing. “Wait a flaming hot second. Peter Parker? Why does that name sound familiar?”
Peter tensed. Had someone figured out Spiderman’s secret identity and sicced a mercenary on him to try and catch him when he wasn’t in costume?
As Peter began to spiral, Deadpool glanced down at the newspaper in his lap, looking at the front page cover. He squinted, pulled the paper closer to his face, and then let out an auditory gasp.
“Holy shit balls, you’re the guy who takes all those hot pictures of Spiderman!”
“Excuse me?” Peter said, torn between relief and confusion.

As if that weren't enough, Deadpool arrives in New York as the newest (probationary) member of the Avengers, hate crimes against mutants are on the rise, and Aunt May's cooking has gotten even worse. Peter's life is falling apart before his eyes, and there's nothing he can do about it.

When an omega drops, if their relationship with their pack isn’t mended, they rapidly sink into a deep depression; often followed by death.
Bruce decides to kill himself before that happens, not knowing Clark will bring him back as many times as it takes.

He lost his job, lost Rachel, and somewhere along the way lost the version of himself he thought he was finally becoming. With nowhere else to go, he decides to drive to Harvey's apartment, hoping his ex-boss might let him crash on his couch and, if nothing else, give him some of that terrible relationship advice Mike has always pretended not to need.
He never makes it there.
A late-night drive, weeks without proper sleep, and one moment of exhaustion leave Mike's car wrapped around a tree in the middle of nowhere, leaving him trapped, injured, and alone.
Harvey had once told him that if Mike ever worked hard enough to actually pass out, he would come for him.
Now Harvey gets the chance to prove it.

“What did she say to you?” Harvey repeated. This time firmer. He was close enough so Mike could smell the scotch on his breath. It smelled like heat and sex. Mike wanted to die.
His death wish grew even more enticing, the second Mike noticed that Harvey hadn’t let him go of him yet. His hands were resting on his hips, not heavy but still present. Harvey waited for an answer. Mike was too afraid to talk.

Why does she think that?
Is it true? Is that an option? Do you want me the way I want you?
“Mike.”
Mike felt ready to risk it all. His eyes dropped to Harvey’s lips. His lids felt heavy, and it was almost impossible to tear his gaze away from temptation.
“Harvey.” He just needed to lean in.

Mike finds out that the opposition's attorney is Harvey's Ex and soon finds himself in front of the two at a fancy restaurant, his anger reaching a new peak. Meanwhile Harvey feels his control slipping away.

Someone new moved to Smallville, in the house on the other side of the Kent farm.
Clark meets the new kid, Bruce Wayne, and his first impression isn't great. He thinks that Bruce is spoiled and rude and out of place. Maybe that's why he blows up at him. But he still saves him when he's in trouble, that's just the kind of person that Clark is.
After a while they develop a tentative kind of friendship over the summer. Bruce isn't like anyone else that Clark knows, and he feels connected to him in all of his out of place-ness.
His own feelings for the other take him by surprise, he only hopes that he can stomp them down before he ruins their friendship over them.
