He dreams of Ned's hand on his shoulder and Catelyn's warm hug.
He dreams of coming home from school one day to the bodies of Ned and Cat on the floor of the kitchen and Robb's body by the back staircase. Like she's watching a movie, like she's hovering outside her own body, she takes stock of where she is. The exit is down the stairs. Her bag is heavy and awkward, she won't be able to run very fast with it. Her phone is in her bag. She has to make a decision.
She brings her hand up and pushes the strap of her bag off her shoulder, letting the whole thing fall with a thud to the ground, breaking the boy's grip on her arm in the process.
