Summary
This is the continuation of Stay With Me (Garrett & Hannah) and We Might Just Get Away With It (Allie & Dean). This third installment of the Hockey House Tales makes the most sense if you’ve read those two stories first.

Even more unfortunate for her, she's being tasked by the Valar to help prevent his rising. Worse still, the plan will only succeed if she and Sauron work together. AKA the Valar send Sauron and Galadriel back in time to prevent Morgoth's rising.

“Is it going to be enough for you?”
The moment the words leave Booker’s lips, Andy hears the meaning underneath. Am I going to be enough for you? The question they had been asking each other in hidden words and secret gestures for decades now. The same question she had asked in London.
The wine bottle scrapes across the floor as she moves it aside, crawling across the space between them to capture Booker’s mouth in a chaste kiss. She can feel the breath catch in his chest, stuttering between them shakily as Andy curls her fingers in the hair at the nape of Booker’s neck. “I want to find out,” she whispers as both of their eyes flutter shut.
After Booker is sentenced to exile, Andy finds herself being pulled back to the pub in London. What she doesn’t expect is where her heart ends up leading her.

Two very naked people shouted at her from the bed and dorm instincts kicked in. "Sorry, sorry! I'll go! My bad!" She closed the door and backed away, sitting on a chair to catch her breath.
Booker had been tangled up with a woman, whose dark hair and sharp eyes were familiar. "Oh fuck right off," said Nile.

“I wanted a choice.” His hand lingers on her diaphragm, steadying her furious, heaving breaths, and there’s nothing but defeat left in him as he says, “I wanted a choice for you and me, Andy. For us to move past all this fucking violence if we wanted to.”
Andy scoffs, and winces as Booker moves lower, closer to her wound. “And do what?”
“You really don’t remember, do you?”
When Andy finds out the truth behind Booker’s betrayal, it makes her take stock of the past she’s left behind and the legacy ahead of her. She has a choice to make—one that becomes even more difficult when she comes face to face with Quynh again, and finds Booker tortured by her hand. A choice between living life between cycles of violence or carving out some semblance of normalcy.
Andy has left her mark on countless lives across the millennia, but the thought of leaving a bit of herself behind scares the shit out of her.

Summary
Ginny's season ends, but not because of a stupid fielding injury. In the aftermath, relationships - platonic and otherwise - will be tested, strengthened, and burned to the ground. Picks up about mid-way through 1x10. Canon compliant-ish up to that point with the exception of Will and Amelia, Tommy and Robles. In this universe, Will blamed Amelia "having it out for [him]" on her being worried that he would replace her again. So the two of them have both continued lying to Ginny about the June incident. Also, Tommy didn't get traded, because I love his relationship with Ginny, and I want to keep him. So someone else was traded for Robles (any of the many ballplayers whose names and faces we never saw or cared about).
I should probably rate this M for gratuitous usage of f-bombs, but I'm not going to, because I'm a horrible person who doesn't believe we should be clutching our pearls every time someone says f*ck, especially not in the year 2020. And honestly, teenagers who have to be teenagers this year deserve the freedom of saying f*ck whenever the hell they want. So... you've been warned.

Sobriety will not stop the dreams.
It takes him a while to remember that he’s no longer the only one dreaming of Quynh, and that’s what breaks him.
He sobs and curses and breaks a window before he decides that is enough. He thought of his family, the nightmares they were doubtless suffering from now. Because of him.
ORBooker gets his shit together and realises he needs to find Quynh in order to get himself a good nights sleep, so he does.

Six months later, Booker blurrily returns to the apartment after finally getting thrown out of the bar at, oh, 600. He glances at the fragment of drafting tape he always leaves from jamb to bottom corner of the door. It hangs loose from the frame.
He’s deadened his fine motor control pretty well this morning. Now his poison of choice slips from numb fingers. Cognac and glass go everywhere, and he manages the coordination to kick at the shards before collapsing on the stair to wait for death and capture.
He waits a while.
