Sometimes, when she’s not about to throw up or die of embarrassment, she can’t help but stare. Gotham skies were always choked with light pollution and clouds, but out here she can see everything. It’s at once terrifying and beautiful, and she kind of hates that it makes her feel so small.

Summary
He's sitting on the edge of his shitty couch, staring at the buckles of his boots that have been halfway undone. He should be shedding himself of scuffed leather and damp socks, but he—can't. His fingers won't cooperate, sitting listlessly in his lap. For a second, Jason has to pay attention to the rise and fall of his chest, just to make sure it's still working the way it's supposed to.

“Come again?” Hal asks incredulously. Subtly, he pinches the skin of his elbow to make sure he's not dreaming, but it doesn't dissolve the image of Batman in front of him. If anything, his frown only gets deeper.
“I need a babysitter,” he repeats.

Summary
There’s something wrong with Dick.
Tim thought everything was getting back to normal. Bruce was alive and back in their timeline, the Birds of Prey were once again operating out of Gotham, Dick had the city well under control as Batman and even Damian had been less obnoxious than usual.
And then during a firefight at a warehouse by the docks, Tim was almost hit by a flying boomerang. And Dick never noticed.
When something is wrong with your big brother, who else do you turn to but your big sisters?

Summary
“I—” Tim recalibrated. Desperately, he scanned Dick’s face—his features blurred over, a wall of nothing; Tim chipped away: “You were a kid, who’ll blame a kid? They won’t hurt anyone again. If you want to, to, to talk to anyone—but it was a long time ago, you’re Nightwing now—”
Tuesday morning: a video was uploaded to one of the deep web black markets. The footage, shot on those grainy vintage camcorders. But Tim knew that boy in the thumbnail; his eyes had memorized him, the heft and shape and dazzle of him, imprinting like an afterimage.
Or: a brother is a witness; there's your tragedy.

Dick rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “I’m mostly used to sparring with my little brothers, it’s kind of just habit, and I was having fun. I didn’t want the match to be over too quick.”
“Too quick?” Derek asked, eyebrows raised. “I’m twice your size, kid.”
Dick shrugged. “So’s Bruce and we’re pretty much tied at this point, or at least according to the score board the kids started to keep for Saturday spars.”
“Saturday spars?” Derek repeated, following him towards the locker room.
Dick flashed him a smile. “What? Don’t have any weird family traditions?”
“Not ones that include hitting each other,” Derek said

Dick has only been a mob enforcer for six months, but delivering a shipment of guns to an up-and-coming crime lord in Gotham should have been easy. All he needs to do is win the man's trust and secure him as a repeat customer.

"Clark. What the hell is this," Lois asks, staring at Clark's Bruceman WIP folder. Clark's first instinct is to fly away, but that would still leave his fic on display for her to see. His second instinct is to blast a hole straight through his laptop screen with his heat vision, which isn't much better.
Clark, in an attempt to make some spare cash, unintentionally stumbles into the world of superhero fanfiction, becomes a prolific writer for Gotham's OTP, and tries his best to fend off rival fans who want him to convert to superbat instead. -

Summary
Gotham goes quiet—too quiet. Then the comms cut out.
Moments later, every Robin is hit with a magic spell that throws them back into their teenage bodies, awkward costumes and all, but leaves their adult minds painfully intact. Tim, Jason, Steph, and Damian are scrambling to figure out what just happened, but there's one glaring problem: Dick's missing. No signal. No trace.
Now, stuck in de-aged bodies that don’t fit their gear or their grip strength, the former sidekicks have to outmaneuver a rogue spellcaster, survive the city’s underworld, and find their oldest brother before the curse locks in for good.

Summary
He pictures the funeral sometimes.
He pictures someone he doesn’t know saying Viktor’s name wrong. He pictures screaming in public. He pictures stealing the ashes and keeping them in a protein powder container because it’s the only vessel big enough. He pictures lying in those ashes like a widow bird. He pictures baking the ashes into bread and feeding them to pigeons in the park.
He pictures swallowing them himself.
Or: When Viktor chooses a quiet death, Jayce learns how to love him to the edge of the end and carry what’s left through the sad art of letting go.

“I already have a dad, y’know? So you don’t have to be my new dad. I don’t really want you to be my dad, anyway. We can be friends. Partners.”

Summary
Dick gives up at the one-year mark.
There’s just… no answer. No solution. Zatanna and Constantine had warned him the spell was permanent. He hadn’t accepted it then, but after a year of searching, a year of scrabbling at any wayward leads he can find, a year of exhausting even the faintest suggestions of hope, he’s finally forced to face the truth:
They were right.
His home, his life, his family… are gone forever.
After being erased from the memory of his loved ones, Dick travels the world and tries to learn to heal. Directly inspired by the fic Breathe Again, by withthekeyisking.
