Summary
On a dark and lonely night many years ago, a young man by the name of Michael O’Dair was walking home from his friend, Harry Sheffield’s house. Michael and Harry were the best of friends growing up, up until Harry moved halfway across the country when they were about eighteen, something about Harry needing to move for college. It was a long walk back to his house but Michael would’ve rather walked home in the rain alone than be seen by anyone on the public transit that night. At one point he decided to cut through the woods on his way back home about ten miles away, he took a second to stop and catch his breath. He looked up at the starry night sky above him and caught sight of the full moon, it would’ve taken his breath away had it not the very next moment, a giant jet black wolf comes barreling out of the woods...

Well the answer is quite simple, I was raised the same way. I too was taken away from my parents as a baby. I grew up in the same tower that I held Rapunzel in.

Summary
Alec loves his job. He’s been touring since he was sixteen. He’s stayed in dozens of countries over the years, learned enough of their languages to get a beer in his hand and a man in his bed. The road is as much his home as the townhouse on the Upper West Side. He’s as comfortable in cheap hotel rooms with scratchy linens and glaring lights as he is in his penthouse that overlooks Central Park with its silk sheets and the constant hum of the city that never sleeps.

Magnus looked up when Alec stopped in front of the rusty gate and quirked an eyebrow upon seeing him.
“Your Highness,” he muttered, deadpan.
“Don’t,” Alec sighed.
“Aren’t you afraid to tarnish your royal blood by coming to visit a pirate?” Magnus continued, his lips twitching with the beginning of a smirk, lacking the humor Alec had witnessed so many times before.
His mesmerizing eyes told a different story, though. They were defeated, tired and it only made Alec feel worse.
“I tried to explain it to them but they wouldn’t listen,” he murmured in a desperate attempt at defending himself.
