Summary
"What the fuck," Kevin whines, out of breath. His hair is a mess from grinding it against Andrew's pillow, fuzzy and sticking to his forehead, and the sight of him makes Andrew want. "Andrew, what the fuck, that was s-so—"
Andrew sucks a bruise harshly on the skin of his inner thigh, trying to leave behind a memory that will last Kevin days, months, years to forget. The brush of his own sweatpants against his hard-on nearly hurts with how sensitive he is, and yet — he cannot find it in himself to ask for anything. When he looks up at Kevin, gasping and panting to the ceiling like he's trying to compose himself, Andrew can't demand anything more of him. He won't.
As in, the one in which Andrew learns that running from nature — and Kevin Day — is a futile effort.

Ever the saint, Renee kindly reminds her, "Kevin is not prone to violence. If he got into a fight, he must've had a good reason."
She's gently cleaning dried blood from Kevin's face, who, for his part, is unusually silent as they discuss him and his motives. Neil doesn't think Kevin would speak his mind if surrounded by people on a good day, and even less so after a court brawl that ended with him red carded.

"What happened?" Neil asks, leaning his elbows against his knees. "Andrew will be furious."
Kevin shrugs, then offers him a bloodstained grin that speaks of no regret. "He called me by someone else's name."
Alternatively — the first openly transgender Exy player is, for all effects and purposes, the son of Exy. It really sends a message.

“Ilya,” Shane says warningly, but he’s too late as the grin unfurls across Ilya’s face. “I said no laughing,” he snaps, glaring at him. “You’re laughing.”
Ilya shakes his head. “Is not at you, sweetheart,” he says, unable and unwilling to stop his beaming. “I am just—happy. To share this with you.” He meets Shane’s eyes. “You are—singularity,” he says, careful with his pronunciation. “My favorite.”
Shane goes red so fast, Ilya worries about his heart for a second.
“I just want to know you,” Shane murmurs, closing his eyes when Ilya lifts his hand up and strokes through his hair. “I miss you when you aren't around, and I want to carry the little bits of you I can.”

Oh. Aaron had saved up, booked a beach vacation as a surprise for Katelyn. Then, a month before their two year anniversary, she had broken up with him. Kevin didn’t realize the hotel had given him a voucher; he’d just assumed Aaron either hadn't gotten his money back or gotten a refund.
Andrew says, “You’re not going.”
Aaron says, “I am.”
Andrew opens his mouth and Kevin can’t take it anymore. “I can drive you,” he says, before Andrew says something he’ll regret.
