When Ada is ripped from her familiar life and thrust into the fantastical and brutal world of Faerûn, she finds herself transformed into a different kind of being. Infected by mind flayers, she teams up with the other survivors and tries to find a cure. In Faerûn, Ada must come to terms with her changed body and newly awakened magic while being hunted by a violent cult. Amidst battles, cultists, and clashes with gods and devils, Ada learns that trust is fragile, love is terrifying, and that her way home might take longer than she would have liked.
