Summary
Growing up he always thought he was normal. The repetitive slapping of shoes on marble told him he might not. They echoed through polished white hallways that looked like they were built for an emperor but in his head the corridors always resembled King Minos’ labyrinth and sometimes he wondered if it was to keep him in like the Minotaur. He jumped down the stairs, two at a time. He was listening for the drumming of more feet following behind him. After all, he had just bolted from the fitting room. He had never been more desperate to run through these awfully high oak doors as then, not even when he was a child and the first snow started layering on top of every surface, waiting to be disarrayed.
“Tooru?” It was but a whisper, but it broke through the sharp clinking of his running like a scream. He stalled, shut down by the hushed name.- Language:

Summary
“I remember you! I remember how you always paid me with milk bread to help you steal art supplies from college, I remember how I always told you about physics when you couldn’t sleep and that you always hung sticky notes with motivational words and little planets on them all over the dorm!” Strings of words stream out of his mouth faster than his brain can even process. Tooru can’t believe he has really forgotten them even for just a moment. It seems impossible to forget such vibrant and colorful personalities that stuck through a lot of shit with you. Tetsurou shows him pictures on the phone while Koutarou comments on them and Tooru can feel the adrenaline wearing off, nursing his limbs into a slumber. He drifts in and out of sleep, but before he’s completely unconscious, he grasps a piece from the silent conversation. It seems the doctor is back.
“It’s good that he remembers you. It’s a good sign,” Tooru hears the scratching of a ball pen being dragged over paper, “do you want to tell him?”
There’s a long pause before Tetsurou speaks up. A pause in which the ticking of the clock seems pressuring. “No, we can’t tell him.” -

Summary
Hajime has no idea what is going on, but even he feels anticipation crawling under his skin like ants.
And then it starts.
Low accords are being played on a guitar, monotonously repeating themselves and then someone starts singing.
“Red cups and sweaty bodies everywhere.”
Fitting, is all Hajime can think of and he recognizes what they are covering.

Summary
Tooru doesn't want to be the one who laughs the loudest, or the one who never wants to be alone.
Unfortunately, he's both.
He's not scared of the dark, or dolls or clowns or something like this. He's scared of the quiet, because it screams the truth. It will scream until he can't bear his regrets anymore, until he's back on the ground with nothing at all except for darkness in his mind that has been there ever since. It's been clinging to him over the years.
The only way to make it go away for at least a little is to get above of everything.
It's funny how all of this contradicts.
Even though he gets so high he can kiss the moon, in the end he will be buried six feet deep.
But there is a silver lining.

Summary
“I still can’t believe he’s gone.” Oikawa chokes out.
Hanamaki shuffles down to wrap an arm around Oikawa who is now hunched over with his head in his hands, sobbing violently. He feels his own eyes water, even as he tries his hardest to keep a straight face as he comforts his friend.
He’s right, Hanamaki thinks biting down as hard as he can on his lip to stop it from trembling, that’s all that’s left now: memories.
“What if,” Matsukawa says quietly, staring at his hands interlocked in front of him, “there was a way to bring Iwaizumi back?”
