As the title implies, this now completed fic is just a novelized version of the amazing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor video game. This labor of love is for the fans who wish to experience this beautiful story in written format, on the go, or for those who may not have had the time or opportunity to experience playing the game. In it you can follow Jedi Cal Kestis on his continued journey through the galaxy and now experience it through the various view points of multiple characters - though Cal is still the prominent voice throughout. While this novelization sticks very closely to the game and includes all the major story beats and in-game dialogue [and action-filled gameplay mechanics], I’ve also taken the liberty to expand and add moments that enhance transitional points in the story or further flesh out our characters. Summary
Merrin and Cal go on a mission together to meet up with a partisan spy to retrieve information about the Empire. But Merrin doesn't know much about life outside of Dathomir. So naturally, some confusion occurs:
“Last name?” Merrin asks, confused.
“Yes dear, what’s your family name?” The seller asks.
Family name...Merrin didn’t have one of those. But someone who did was standing nearby!
“Kestis!” She blurts out as soon as the thought pops into her head.
Upon hearing Merrin give his last name to the seller, claiming it was hers, he nearly dropped the droid part he purchased and BD-1 let out a series of surprised beeps.
“So your name is Merrin Kestis?” The seller asks.
“Y-yes.” Merrin says and looks at Cal who’s face was turning nearly as red as his hair.
And she and Cal wind up pretending to be married, and through that learn each other's true feelings for each other.

Some may think it odd that a flower shop could be run by a Jedi - Luke disagrees.
“Luke,” Luke blurts, all semblance of calm he had been working to maintain gone. He fumbles to tuck some of his hair behind his ear as a distraction before he tries again. “My name is Luke.”
Luke doesn’t tell him he’s the only one that runs the shop with his droid. There’s no need to ask for him, ever, but Luke wants him to.
The Mandalorian nods again. “Thank you.” Then, almost a forced afterthought: “Luke.” After, he’s gone, the bell tinkling over the door and sunlight shining off the polished armor as he steps out.
Luke leans over the counter, stretching to catch a glimpse of the man again before the crowds of Galactic City swallow him from sight.

Summary
There is a single wavering moment in which it is just the three of them - Chani, Paul and his betrothed. As the world around her shakes and blurs, she looks into the eyes of the only boy she’s ever loved and she knows.
She knows that there is no going back, not for him or her. She knows that she lost him the moment they crossed the storm. Chani knows in the way she knew her mother was dead, that Paul is lost to her.
(His dreams turned reality, except she cannot draw him from his nightmares, from his sobs and cracking voice, from the hollowness in his eyes. He is gone. He is gone.)
But her people are alive, and she has never been fighting for this devastatingly lovely boy. So Chani falls to her knees, slowly and steadily, and when she lowers her head, it feels like the end of everything.

When a Jedi, dressed in black robes and a veil, arrived to rescue the Mandalorian and the friends that he had brought with him on the bridge of Gideon’s cruiser, Din believed he was prepared to let go of the Child he had grown attached to. But months of travelling alone, something that he once treasured and found peaceful, slowly filled his heart with anguish and despair.
Deeply missing his Child, Din travels to YavinIV, hoping to stay with the Jedi and watch Grogu’s training from afar, if only to make sure that he’s as well cared for as he would have been by the covert. Greeted by a man who speaks low and soft, every discernible feature hidden in many layers of clothes that Din surely believes mustn’t be comfortable, he is given permission to stay; this permission granted on two simple conditions. The Mandalorian must not leave after dark, and he mustn’t see the Jedi’s body without consent. Of all people, Din understands this feeling, having been brought up on rules similar to these.
Perhaps Mandalorians and Jedi are not so unalike, he wonders to himself. Meanwhile, Luke is discovering things just as strange and confusing within himself. Somehow more so than the carnivorous cravings he’d felt since he was young.Bookmarked by meizitos
