Summary
Bucky doesn't consider his Steve Rogers problem as a problem so much as the solution he hadn't realized he was hoping for to help him through the transition from the Bucky Barnes he'd been before his accident to the new, shiny version of himself.
No, the problem isn't with Captain America and The Howling Commandos fandom.
The problem is the amount of porn Bucky managed to write and draw about Captain America before finding out that he's less than one degree of separation away from Steve Rogers. 'Less than' as in he's sitting across the table from him.

Summary
“What’s a guy like you doing in a place like this?” Clint says, instead.
Barnes snorts. “Having a drink,” he says, then gives Clint another one of those appraising looks. “You a professional?” he says, after a second, and Clint is momentarily confused.
A professional what?
And then he realizes Barnes must be talking about pool, and Clint huffs a laugh. “Only when there’s money involved,” he says, smirking, and Barnes kind of nods, like that makes any sort of sense.
Then Barnes nods again, a little more firmly, and says “You got a place?”
Which is about the point that Clint realizes that he’s not meeting the Winter Soldier in a bar, he’s being picked up by the Winter Soldier in a bar and-
“Yeah,” he croaks, clears his throat, thinks wildly that he’s really fucking glad Kate has Lucky for a few days, and says “Yeah, I got a place.”
Or, how Bucky got his groove back.
(And Clint too, but it was a different sort of groove)

Summary
Bucky doesn’t know why the universe has suddenly started giving him companions, but he does know he doesn't like it.
After leaving behind one life as a soldier and another as an assassin, Bucky now hunts monsters for a living. It's an easy, simple, solitary life, until he meets a troublesome archer, a witch who talks too much of destiny, and an old friend who seems to think another old friend is still alive. Honestly, humans are more trouble than any goddamn creature he's ever had to kill.

Dear Readers,
Today is the day. The day that all Debutantes dream and fear in equal measure, in which they meet the Queen and are Judged ready or not for their presentation into Society. The Presentation Room is always awash with Scents, with those unmated forbidden from any sort of Scent Deception—as is only right.
This year, we have many a scion of Old and Noble Houses attaining their majority. I am sure that, like me, all will be watching with breath that is bated...

Summary
Bucky Barnes has been invited as a VIP to visit and present at Stark Expo by the billionaire CEO himself. And when he learns that part of the VIP package is a very attractive, very large bodyguard that may or may not be the spitting image of the man of his dreams, Bucky gets the feeling he's being deliberately blindsided.
But when events turn from dangerous to deadly, Bucky might be glad to have this big, blond, surly bodyguard to hang on to - even if he dresses like a ninety year old man, speaks like he stepped out of an old movie, and somehow appears to be… bulletproof?

Summary
Clint might not have the most romantic soulmark, but no matter how discouraging his soulmate's first words to him might be, he knows he's going to win them round.
Of course, nothing ever turns out the way you think it's going to. And when Bucky Barnes, of all people, does finally say the words Clint's been waiting for, it's more complicated than he could ever have imagined - not least because Bucky's soulmate is very definitely dead.
It's not until one of Tony's experiments with some recovered AIM technology takes an unexpected turn that everything starts to make sense. But if Clint was hoping for an easy solution to his problems, he's going to be disappointed.

Summary
“Who the fuck are you?”
“Steve Rogers.” Steve straightens, looks Bucky in the eye. Remembers all the times he’s said this, in a future that this world will never see. “I’m your friend.”
“Steve Rogers,” Bucky repeats, mouth twisting bitterly. “Captain America. The same Captain America who’s buried in ice, who fucking sacrificed his fool ass to stop the Red Skull, who crashed a motherfucking plane into goddamn ice nine days ago.”
“Twelve,” Steve corrects a little numbly, because that’s the easiest part he can address. “I went down on February 2nd. It took them a while to determine whether or not to let the public know. To weigh the demoralization my death will cause against the vengeful heroics my sacrifice will inspire. Clearly, they decided on the latter eventually, but I’ve been told it was pretty close.”
_
When Steve uses the last of his Pym Particles to travel to 1944 and save his best friend, he doesn’t have a plan beyond leaving behind the battlefield and living his life alongside the people he loves.
But time has a will of its own.

Summary
“So,” he said, unwrapping the foil of the bar, “I’m Clint.”
The Soldier just blinked at him, caught somewhere between confused and surprised.
Which, fair, Clint got that a lot.
But he figured the Soldier hadn’t expected him to acquiesce so quickly, and Clint fully intended to capitalize on that, either in information or opportunity to escape or both.
He flashed a half-smile at the other man, one he’d flashed at a dozen other people in the last few years, one that got him a second look at least seventy percent of the time, and a quickie a fairly significant portion of that. He stretched his arms up over his head and cracked his spine, working the stiffness out of the shoulder that had, until ten seconds ago, been shackled to the furniture.
“This is the part where you tell me your name.” Clint said. “Or something to call you by,” he amended.
Or: Clint meets his soulmate.

“From GrrlTragic: Suddenly all the actual sex toys in the world disappear, what do you use in their place?”
Bucky is grateful he’s locked his arm, because otherwise the camera would’ve tumbled straight out of his grip and onto the floor. He’s staring at Clint in shock but Clint doesn’t seem to notice, just laughing and setting the card aside as he continues to talk.

Summary
Steve Rogers’s patriotic eyebrows jump up. “Holy cow.”
That was not what Tony would have expected from Captain America. “‘Holy cow’? Did the history books mess up? Was your family actually from India and not Ireland?”
“Fuck off, Stark. I ain’t shitting on what comes out of your mouth, so you better leave my goddamn cows alone as well.”
Tony doesn’t know whether to feel awestruck or betrayed. “You,” he says and points at Rogers, “are nothing like I expected.”
“Sorry to be a fucking disappointment,” Rogers says with a scowl and pulls his ridiculous helmet on, covering the sleekly styled brown hair. It was astonishing how even Rogers’s golden hair had been false propaganda -- but of course the great America had wanted to present its figurehead as Aryan perfection in the time of eugenics. “Suit up, everyone. Let’s get this shit done.”

"Where am I? Where is this?" and he was in Brooklyn, he was on a beach, the train was shaking around him. He was in the plane, ice splintering up onto the windshield. He was in a tank, tubes trailing from his face, from his groin. Christ, he was cold. There was still ice on his fingers. He was in the Grand Canyon. He was in Times Square. This couldn't be Times Square. Where the hell was this? "Tell me! Where am I, who are you, where's—" —Bucky?

“Well, he was an alpha-type before and during the war,” Clint points out. “So it’s not like Steve needs to get him down down, if the goal is returning him to pre-HYDRA levels. Just… out of the range where he’s going to be dealing with PTSD and heavy alpha withdrawal.”
“And then what? Let him come back to neutral with time? Or are we supposed to find him a pet bunny to take care of? Cause let’s be real, I doubt you’re going to find anyone to willingly submit to the Winter Soldier.”
“Dude, I’d submit willingly to the Winter Soldier,” Clint grins. “Have you seen those thighs?”
