They've cleared up the leftover demons in Seoul, the Rainbow Honmoon seems to be really working out, and their three month hiatus is over. Things in Rumi's life are going pretty good. What better way to get back into the swing of things than a mini tour?
Now if only she could work out why Mira and Zoey are being so weird about wanting to kiss her.

It’s rare outside their home but not totally unlike the transformation that overtakes her when she’s about to perform—but this is so much more pointed, fixed on five fools instead of fifty thousand beloved fans, and all the more potent for it. When Rumi lifts her chin, a smirk pulling at her lips, it’s like she’s grown three inches and the aura that burns around her is pure power.

Summary
Mira has been going over each little thing for the past week. Meticulously turning them over in her mind, replaying events in her head until she’s sick from remembering. It’s something like a punishment. A constant reminder of all the ways she fucked up; hardly feels like enough atonement after hearing everything that Rumi has gone through her entire life.
Rumi stops being able to sing. Rumi starts completely shutting down, worse than either of them have ever seen. Rumi starts pulling away. There are nights where Mira swears Rumi isn’t in her room, but she can’t prove it. Rumi starts obsessively wearing layers—turtlenecks paired up with jackets and compression shirts underneath all of that. Rumi starts being strangely combative and harsh. Rumi snaps at her in a way that is completely uncharacteristic for her. Rumi won’t sing their song, even with the world caving in around them, as if she wouldn’t mind if the world did end.
Mira hasn’t stopped feeling guilty.

“Okay,” Rumi began, standing up and stepping closer. “So you don’t want to spar. Do you want to play instead? Me and Zo can help you work off some energy and you won’t have to be in control. We can do it for you.”
Now that was an interesting proposal. Mira was no longer embarrassed to admit that she loved it when her girls turned her brain off, let her be theirs without any need to be strong or tough. Her resolve was wavering, but she made one final protest, flushing as she spoke. “It would help, but I’m not really sure that I can… y’know, let go today.”
“Don’t worry, baby. You know we can handle you being bratty if that’s what you need,” Zoey purred from her seat on the bed, sending a shiver through Mira’s body.

Mira's visit with her family doesn't go well. At first she tries dealing with her anger like she always has, but it doesn't work. Rumi and Zoey have an alternative idea to help her blow off some steam and remember how important she is to them.
