Summary
Long before the elves, Orome rode across the lands and purged evil from the forests he loved. Once the other races began to wake, he asked Eru for help protecting Middle Earth. Not long after, Orome found the hobbits. Deciding they were a gift from Eru himself, Orome took them in and began to teach them not only to hunt but also how to care for the lands around them. Any hobbit worth their salt knew how to drive out evil and vanquish it, just as their Valar taught them.
So really, how was Bilbo supposed to refuse a quest that would not only allow him to travel the lands that all hobbits loved but also vanquish one of the greatest evils still on Middle Earth? He was supposed to say no to cleansing forests and vanquishing darkness and seeing new trees? Not going was never an option.
The more evil they met along the way, the better.

I tore through this series in a week. I laughed, I CRIED, I CRIED SOME MORE, and then you gave us a happy ending. I adore your writing style, even though I kind of hate your artistic choices. You killed my top favorite characters! But the story has staying power, and I finished reading this with eyelashes still damp, and a smile on my face. I am recommending this to every Potter reader I know.

Summary
Harry had no idea being stuck on the tube could lead to him gaining a new family. A crazy, wild, girl-powered, singing, new family. Luckily he doesn't out himself as a wizard, since apparently one Emma Bunton was cousins with Luna Lovegood and knew about him already. It was funny how quickly and easily Victoria Adams bustled into his life, took over his guardianship, showed him how to have fun as a 16 year old boy, and even somehow got him an amazing boyfriend, as well as herself, in the process.
Parsel magic, Harry being competent, Slytherins joining Harry's side, Voldemort and Dumbledore both getting taken care of, and the year isn't even over yet.
