Maybe if it was a good kiss, Aziraphale thinks halfway through the minutes of a meeting that happened two centuries ago, it would be more easily forgotten. Maybe because it was so bad, so sad, it became less forgettable. Like a sentence half said. If he could get the whole sentence, perhaps it might settle in his mind like the rest of his memories and fade gently in time.
Or: Aziraphale can't stop thinking about the kiss and decides to remedy this in the worst possible way.
