Hyunjin died seven months ago.
It was so stupid. A car accident, on the way home from the convenience store, one summer evening. It was swelteringly hot and dusk was settling in and Hyunjin just wasn’t looking where he was going -
In the end, Hyunjin supposes, he died for the sake of a candy bar and two energy drinks.
...Minho looks beautiful, like this, under the strobe lights, his body moving fluidly against other bodies, seemingly without thought, or worry.

Maybe one day he’ll be able to hold his chin up, and call it by its real name: the truth is, Hyunjin has been a horribly selfish person his entire life— he’s just been enabled, now.

Summary
In the depths of the Yellow Woods, Hyunjin spent years with his team of only five (his family) plotting to tear down the government. Only two miles to the west, Miroh stood tall and prosperous as ever, a city of the rich crushing the poor, of terrible secrets and centuries of underlying corruption rampaging freely. They plan until they're certain, they prepare relentlessly, ready for anything to go wrong, anything that could tear them down before the government of Miroh could collapse.
Anything, at least, but betrayal.
In the end, it takes more than hope and years of planning to overthrow a government that has the sheer power and strength that Miroh holds, one step ahead in ways they hadn't imagined. Taken both as a hostage, a criminal to be punished, and a tool for the enemy's use, and with Minho's life depending solely on his obedience, Hyunjin's desperation to destroy the corrupt city-state crumbles down into desperation to survive the repercussions of a mission gone horribly wrong.

Summary
Hyunjin wasn’t supposed to be here, was supposed to be nowhere near where they were standing now. Minho had reassured himself for the years that it had taken to get over Hyunjin that the younger was better off now, safe and comfortable while living a normal life. He knew damn well that Hyunjin wasn’t at this event for the reason that he said he was. Hyunjin came here to kill, just like Minho did.
Or: When Minho left Hyunjin behind three years ago with the intent of letting him live a better life, he never expected to see him again, especially not during the most dangerous hit that he'd ever attempted. Beyond finding out that Hyunjin came to kill the same cruel, powerful man that Minho was targeting, Minho finds answers to Hyunjin's reckless actions and pent-up bitterness as well as to his own suppressed feelings. With the sudden knowledge that Hyunjin's life is at stake, Minho rushes to save him before he loses him for good.

Summary
Hyunjin, gifted with the power of fast and perfect healing, wanted to dedicate his life to helping people. Volunteering slipped into hospital work that eventually twisted into this, locked in a military base that he didn't even know the location of, sitting in a cold room healing horrible, sickening wounds over and over, endlessly. A soul can only take so much, and every day he wondered how much more his could take before a particularly persistent, rowdy soldier he'd saved before broke the barriers set around him for his 'protection', breaking through the bars of a cage that Hyunjin hadn't realized held him.
Or: Hyunjin is a healer for the world, and Changbin is the healer for Hyunjin

His voice caught, and he only then realized how worked up he was getting, clenching his fingers into the hem of his hoodie so tightly that it was beginning to ache. He released it, taking in a shaky breath.
“I want to be with him,” Hyunjin confessed, “And if I’m a hero too, I can work together with him.”
Or: Hyunjin goes to a sorcerer to be given powers so he can join his extremely busy fiance as a superhero, anything to be with him more. Contrarily Chan is drowning in a massive-scale mission involving hundreds of deaths and what resembles mind control. And at the center of it all is Minho.

Despite warnings and preparations, the extreme heat begins taking its toll on both the members and fans. With fans also requiring medical attention, the group makes the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the show for everyone's safety.

This was inspired by what happened at the Kids' concert in D.C, where they unfortunately had to cancel, but it was the best for everyone's safety. Hyunjin tries to stand up when he wakes up.
It’s one of the first thing he does. He opens his eyes and tries to stand up. His upper body follows his movement, but his legs refuse to. He slams on the floor in a loud thud.
“Hyunjin?!” Chan storms in his room in panic. “Are you okay?"
Hyunjin tries to nod.
Forgetting hurts more than the first time his mom saw him on a wheelchair. It hurts more than Minho’s sobs in the hospital’s hallway. More than the comments and the articles.
Forgetting forces him to relieve that moment, when he realized that he couldn’t feel his legs anymore.

Unconsciously, Hyunjin melted into his hold and a small sound that could only be described as a purr rumbled in his chest as he got comfortable once again. He nosed a little more into Chan’s neck, his lips slightly parted to drool a little against his skin and Chan just huffed fondly. His warm breath tickled against the crook of his neck .
When he snuck a hand under Hyunjin’s shirt to rub circles into his hip bone, he realized that he felt… abnormally warm. Worry buzzed persistently in Chan’s heart like bees trapped in a jar, and all that he could do was keep a close eye on him throughout the night.

Chan was pretty familiar with all the local residents that visited Bondi beach, in fact, most were his neighbors. He was sure he would have noticed someone like this before.
Beautiful dark hair pulled into a half up and half down hairstyle, curly at the edges from the beach breeze. Long legs that seemed to stretch for miles. Slanted dark eyes. A skin tight black wetsuit that accentuated his body with a teal surfboard (that had the most beautiful flowers painted on it that he’d ever seen) tucked under his right arm.
He gracefully avoided a passed out cluster of girls in their bikinis as he made his way to the surf.

Lifeguard Chan is enamored by the new surfer at Bondi, a transfer art student all the way from South Korea.
In a surfing accident, Chan finally gets the chance to talk to him (and save his life.)
