Summary
He's put every single emotion he's ever felt for Tommy Kinard into pastries and breads and any carbohydrate Buck could think of and he’s given it to everyone but who needed to see it.
Manfully, Buck resists the urge to ask what Tommy's spies have told him and why the fuck he didn't do anything about it, but they obviously couldn't be very good spies if they hadn't realized Buck was currently inhaling more flour that was optimal or that Buck was more carb than human nowadays. Instead;
"Had a lot of empty time on my hands, recently." He says, dryly.
Tommy winces.
"Wait, no sorry-that was - I didn't mean that-" Buck scrubs a hand down his face, rubs the pads of his fingers across one eye before dropping it down to fiddle with the zip of his jean jacket. He breathes a huff of air out. "Just that I've had a lot of time to try something new."

Summary
When Buck falls ill at the end of a night shift, a concerned Bobby refuses to let him drive home and calls in reinforcements.
He fumbles to press the accept call button, almost drops it once before he shoves it between his shoulder and head.
"Evan?" He says immediately. Despite how being with Evan has had the side effect of igniting previous friendships, there is very little that Bobby would be calling about during a work shift, no matter how close to finishing.
"-is fine, Tommy," Bobby immediately reassures. "Well-"
"Bobby."
There's a small pause, and Tommy winces. He'll have to apologize later.
"He's not injured," Bobby rephrases. "When we woke up, I found him asleep on the couch, I think he's got a fever and a bit of a migraine-"
"And you don't want him driving." Tommy guesses. His heart rate is still a little too fast to be healthy, but it's settling now, knowing that whilst Evan isn't at his best, he isn't - at least - near death's door, or about to be.
"Honestly, Tommy; he's also asking for you."

Summary
Buck hadn't meant for the Firehouse Crew to find out like this.
"I- ah- I didn't realize you were thinking about transferring." Bobby says diplomatically. Buck frowns at him. Serrano wheezes like a deflating balloon.
"Because I'm - not?" Buck points out. "I haven't talked about transferring for ages."
"I see," Bobby says. His voice is higher pitched than normal, strangled. "I'm - I'm very happy for you, Buck."
"….Thank you, I guess?"
"I hope you know you can talk to us about anyon- about anything."
That seems to do Serrano in, her wheezing laughter going abruptly silent as she seizes with it. She staggers towards where Hen is fanning her face, blinking rapidly behind her glasses.
"I know I can, Cap."
Chimney does a swift about face and stride over to Hen. His shoulders shake suspiciously, and what Buck can see of his face is bight red.
"Did we get gifted some LSD brownies again?" Buck frowns.
Bobby twitches.

Summary
Talked into getting a dog by his physiotherapist after the string of events following the Ladder Truck bombing, Buck hadn't realized it would lead him to trespassing on LAFD Air Ops property.
He comes to a slow jog, knowing that the limp in his gait is obvious when his mid calf twinges heavily, a bone deep ache that he’s going to have to massage away later in a probably too hot bath.
“Hiya, gorgeous!” Someone says. “What’re doing here, are you lost, pretty girl?”
A broad man is stooped over, squatting in front of Althea’s half dancing form as she tries to snatch the hose from his grip. He’s got massive hands that shake and pet at the ruff of Althea’s neck, right at the base of her ears like she loves. He shifts his weight, and Buck can’t help how his gaze lowers, catching on the curve of his muscular rear.
“Althea!” Buck calls, and she barks through a mouthful of water, half drenched and leaving paw prints on the dry concrete as she prances between Buck and the hose still gushing water from where the man has abandoned it on the hangar floor.

Tommy's got a pretty good life, if you ask him; he's got the world's greatest kid, a job he loves, a three-bed house that he fixed up himself with his own hands over the years, and a wife so wonderful that even Tommy's shithead of a father never had a bad word to say to or about her.
If only his daughter's best friend had stayed a chubby, awkward 12-year-old, then Tommy's life would have been truly perfect, but no: Evan Buckley just had to grow into a tall, broad, gorgeous man who appears to be allergic to wearing clothes. It's a Problem.
