Peter nods, biting the inside of his cheek as he tries to calm his quaking nerves. “Okay… so if I’m not dead, then where am I? And why are you all treating me like I’m some sort of criminal?”
“Because here Spider-Man is a criminal,” Tony replies, unflinching. “And not just any common thief. A murderer.”
Peter barks out a laugh, the corner of his lip turning up. “Yeah, right.” But the smile falters when Tony’s expression doesn’t change. “No way, no way would I ever–”
“Oh, there’s a way, kid. Believe me,” Tony interjects. “The other you, my Peter? He bought himself a one-way ticket to the Raft. Been there for months.”
“No way,” Peter repeats with a croak. He looks down at his cuffed hands, feeling numb. “It’s a mistake. It has to be.”
Tony huffs out a humorless guffaw, and Peter lifts his head, wary but curious.
“Funny,” Tony says, deadly serious, “that’s what he said, too.”

Suddenly finding himself in the middle of nowhere definitely was not on his list of to-do's, especially when it turns out he's been thrown into another universe. Another universe where he's apparently dead. At least Tony Stark was alive, even if he thinks that Peter is some hallucination.

“And you?” his mentor prodded, though knowing that the non-answer in and of itself was answer enough.
“Rooftop on 53rd, when I’m lucky.”

a) make everyone live,
b) simultaneously traumatize Peter further by making him homeless due to his scroungy resourceful stubborn self-sacrificial self, and

Law is… not quite sure how he got here. Here, being the highest point on a dangerous mountain, some place in the New World, separated from his crew, with only Kidd and Luffy for company.
Here, being crammed into a ridiculous tiny mine-cart and about to plummet down a rickety rail-road track, with Kidd pressed against his back and Luffy pressed against his front, linked all together by sea-stone cuffs, and, again, about to plummet down a mountain half as tall as the Red Line.
Luffy is screaming happily. Kidd is screaming angrily. Law is currently wishing he had his powers and no cuffs, so he could have no ears and not be able to listen to this. Law has… not known peace in years.
Years.
How the fuck did he get here again?

The masked man scoffed. “Of course you act like this. Communicator. Hand it over. You obviously don’t mean it. If you’re going to waste my time by making me repeat myself, I’m going to take away a privilege of yours. If you don’t respect me, I’m not going to respect you.” He held out a hand expectantly, and Tommy’s stomach turned at the thought of being away from the one connection he had with everybody else. Still, it was an order, not a request.
He summoned the device from his inventory, he clutched it tightly in his hand then held it over Dream’s open palm, for just a moment before letting it drop into the man's waiting hand. He regretted it almost instantly when he remembered everything that was held inside of it. Especially some of the more recent messages he had sent. He could only hope Dream would just put it away somewhere for a while, not look at anything on it, then give it back once Tommy managed to prove himself worthy of it again.
It didn’t seem like he would be that lucky this time around.

Tommy started calling them time loops.
Every day, he'd wake up in cold sweat, water dripping from his forehead at four in the morning, he and Tubbo would walk down the prime path to say their final goodbyes, they'd leave to travel to the mountain at ten at night, it would take them until sunrise to get to their destination and they'd fight with Dream at the peak of the cliffs. This was where the events diverted.
But end result was always the same. He'd always die, and then he'd wake up at four in the morning again.
Or...
Tommy finds himself stuck in a time loop on the 20th of January and struggles to find a way out before he loses himself completely.Series
