Summary
Maedhros comes riding into Hithlum on a fine spring afternoon, and Fingon is there to meet him. The months that separated them have only increased Maedhros’ heartsickness, and he cherishes Fingon’s presence.
There should be no reason for Fingon to make a move on him, but he does, and when Fingon kisses him, Maedhros’ world changes in a split second. They talk, and they bask in one another’s presence. Things are better than ever. Unfortunately, fate decides to throw a wrench in the middle of their innocent reunion.
*Fingon’s eyes were curious, dark and beautiful as ever. Maedhros tilted his head. Fingon paused, hesitating, and came closer. His eyes fluttered closed. Maedhros broached the distance between them.

Summary
Maedhros rides out from Himring to tend to his sick brother. The troublesome thing about being apart from Maglor (a sick Maglor, that is) is that there is no way to keep him from curling up like an injured cat away from humanity.
Now, the distance to the Gap might keep Maedhros from having a steady watch over Maglor, but you know what they say— nothing keeps an older brother from his younger.
*“Didn’t I tell you not to lie to me?” Maglor blinked. “You’re far more ill than you would have had me believe.”

Summary
Achilles comes to Aphrodite’s monster maze with a prophecy, a deadline on his strength, and a very simple plan: claim the Aphroi, keep his power, save his kingdom.
Patroclus, the Aphroi in question, has plans to poison Achilles and escape on his own.
The island has other ideas. Between hellhounds, sirens, drakons, and three very tedious trials, Achilles and Patroclus are forced into an uneasy partnership that starts to look less and less like conquest and more like a joint escape attempt.
A story about devotion that isn’t forced, and what happens when a weapon decides he’d rather be a person.

Summary
Wind pushed the draperies that hid them from the morning sun. With it, sand drifted in, flying through the air like dust and settling on the woven mats that made up their floor. Sounds of men and chatter drifting in along the wisps of air, falling in and out of focus as easily as the draperies waved back and forth. They lay on their pallet, a wooden structure to raise them far enough off the dunes to escape the damp and shifting sand. It was piled with pelts and weaving to make a place comfortable enough to sleep after long days in the sands and fields around Troy.
The prince was as warm as the sun’s heat on the back of his shoulder beneath him. The warmth spread like a fever making him even more lethargic when the sun and his men’s voices should have beckoned him forth from the tents ages past. He knew Achilles was awake from how his breath came and the soft caress, hardly a whisper, over his back was only proof. Patroclus could close his eyes and see Achilles’ face, upturned towards the canvas over their heads, eyes open as his mind fought battles with no bloodshed.
