Summary
While working on his bike, an accidental fire renders Robby without use of his hands for at least a week. Good thing Jack’s got two hands, approximately a hundred favors to call in, and enough stubbornness to deal with an injured Robby for as long as needed for his recovery.

Summary
Pittfest had taken the last stable brick in the wall that Robby had composed carefully, over years of persistent loneliness. From September to December, Robby pondered every decision he'd made and the worth of them. These thoughts led Robby to a dangerous ledge--one that both quelled the incessant questioning and made his stomach shoot up his esophagus to rest on the back of his tongue.

“Mike.”
It was just his name, but Robby froze immediately.
Because he knew that voice.
Shit.
He’d been so careful.
“Well, isn’t this a nice surprise.”

Summary
When his doctor breaks the news to him, Robby can’t say he’s surprised.
He’s not an endocrinologist, but he had put his diagnosis together before even booking his appointment. The hot flashes that left him dazed and sweaty, the random bouts of tachycardia that for once were not anxiety induced, the migraines whenever he smelled something strong enough to break through the haze of his meds -- he put two and two together and realized the warning label on his suppressants finally caught up to him.

Summary
Whenever Robby enters the trauma room Dennis is in, he straightens his shoulders and lets his eyes drop to the nylon tiles. He only ever looks up when he is sure the older man is busy inspecting something else, like doctors are supposed to, like their job is to save lives and not stare down their colleagues. Sometimes, Robby catches him in the act, and it sends something straight from his gut to somewhere lower. Usually, they hold that eye contact for a few seconds, not moving or saying anything. He feels like he is on trial, seen and evaluated by something greater than himself. There is no air inflating or deflating his lungs when this happens. It feels like pain, feels like salvation. The momentary bliss of being the sole focus of his God after yearning for it all day. As if his prayers have been heard.
Then Robby blinks and looks away, so Dennis can breathe again.
Dennis stops Robby from going on his sabbatical. Things get complicated.

“Yeah, but this?” Robby lifts the photo slightly. “This is new. It's like I'm meeting part of you I've never known, y'know?"
Jack reaches past him, close enough that his arm brushes Robby’s side, to take the photo. He barely looks at it.
He slides it back into the box with careful precision and closes the lid on the box.
“Old life,” he says. Simple. Final.
OR
Robby spots some interesting stuff in Jack's storage unit and wants to see more.

Summary
Dennis house‑sat for Robby during his three‑month sabbatical. They started texting while Robby was on the road… and never really stopped. Now, a month after Robby’s return, they’re back on shift together — and neither of them knows how to pretend the texting doesn’t mean something.
Basically, this is a super fluffy texting fic where Dennis and Robby are too nervous to actually talk in person like adults :)

Summary
Dennis Whitaker is almost done with his residency at PTMC. He’s matched, he’s on nights with Dr. Abbot, and he’s finally—supposedly—over his crush on Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch.
Then Robby and Abbot get punished, shifts are swapped, and suddenly Dennis is back to work under his former mentor.
Old feelings don’t stay buried for long. Especially when it turns out Robby isn’t nearly as unaffected as Dennis thought...
------------ROBBY POV------------
Because that’s how Robby feels. Like Whitaker’s about to take his king.
Fuck, take his bishop, he thinks, glancing in those blue eyes. My queen, my knights, all the king’s horses and all the king’s men, because nothing could put him back together again.
------------DENNIS POV------------
Dennis might get reprimanded afterwards, but for now Robby knew when to pick his battles. So, Dennis ignores the small shiver traveling over his back at hearing those words and concentrates instead.
“I’ll assist,” Robby says quietly, already reaching for the light. “Tell me what you need.”
Dennis exhales, just a fraction. You, I just need you. “Retract. Steady.”

Summary
“He looked at the careful way Whitaker had made the hospital bed, the folded protein bar wrapper that had fallen to the ground, the bag that probably contained the kid’s entire life, and something in him just… decided.
Maybe it was the exhaustion. Maybe the weight of too many losses in one day. Maybe the memory of Whitaker’s hands steadying him as he got back on his feet in Pedes.
“I have a spare room,” Robby said, before he could start talking himself out of it.”
---
In the aftermath of Pittfest, Robby discovers Whitaker living on an abandoned hospital floor and offers him a place to stay.

Robby is known to be a bit of white knight, sometimes to his own detriment. That impulse is certainly to blame when it comes to bringing a homeless Dennis Whitaker to stay in his guest room.
Turns out, Dennis can out white knight him any day of the week.
A series in which Robby and Dennis do their messy best to take care of each other. Canon divergence S1 series finale, best read in order.

Summary
Robby asks Dennis to house sit for him. He forgets to mention that he has cameras set up. And that he's a freak who checks them frequently.
I got the idea to write this from @/k.odi6 on tiktok, from the comic he drew based on this idea!!
I tried my best to stay in character for them, but I influence my own writing a lot. So please bare w me on that front.

Dennis watched Robby inhale, his throat working, his eyes slipping shut, his head tilting back as he exhaled into the night and thought 'put it out on me, mark me, ruin me' and then he turned away, because Robby was married and happily at that and if Dennis was anything he was a good person who respected boundaries.
But the thought didn't go away.Dennis leads a married Robby into temptation, one cigarette at a time.

Summary
Being wanted isn’t a terrible thing, especially considering Dennis has never really been pursued before. It doesn’t feel uncomfortable. He just doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do when a nice young woman inevitably asks him out to lunch.
Apologize to her because she’s not a man that’s twice his age?
Having a secret admirer is a double-edged sword.

Summary
It all started with something the barman said, that wound its way around Billy Butcher's brain like a weed: “Have you tried fucking him? Maybe that would calm him down.”
And that is how he found himself, drunk off his arse, standing outside of Vought Tower at 3AM, cat-calling Homelander.
“Homelander...pspspsps, come ‘ere sweetheart,” Billy cooed at the sky. “Be a good boy and come to daddy...”
It was a great idea. He was sure of it.

Summary
When Whitaker accidentally sends a dick pic to Dr. Robby, he never thought it would end like this.
--
The ED team shuffles out, Whitaker and Dr. Robby taking up the rear. Dr. Robby stops him with a hand on Whitaker’s waist, there and gone. “Really,” he says low, directly into his ear, beard scratching his cartilage, “that was amazing. You didn’t waste any time starting compressions. That probably saved that baby’s life. You saved that baby’s life.”
The praise goes to his head, suffusing him with endorphins. “Thank you, Dad.” And he promptly wants to crawl out of his skin and slither down the drain with the after birth slop.
