“Man,” Nino groans, accepting defeat at last, as he gives the golden elevator doors a vicious, vengeful kick. Just like that, he remembers his present company.
Nino turns chagrined eyes to Ladybug.
“Er. Sorry… Probably shouldn’t take it out on the doors?”
Ladybug doesn’t seem to hear him. She is staring hard at the security camera located in the corner. He’s never seen her so quiet… not that he’s seen much of her, that is. Definitely not this close.
Damn, he can’t help but think. What Adrien wouldn’t give to be here right now.
“I’m sure they’ll fix it soon,” Nino offers tentatively, because it seems like something Adrien might say. Or Ladybug, probably, if she weren’t so distracted.
“They will,” she acknowledges, but her eyes are still pretty far away. “That’s what I’m worried about.”
“What?“
Ladybug straightens. She makes a decision; it does really pretty things to her eyes, so Nino doesn’t hear her at first, when she asks him for his hat.

Sokka takes a strategic step back, but he also smiles: triumphant, like he baited Zuko into exactly what he wanted. Like it’s a challenge. It’s the same way he looked when they sized each other up at the prison, with Sokka in chains that left red marks around his wrist, in tattered prison garb, malnourished and angry. Back then, that was Sokka saying: I see your power. I see you. Now, see me.
Zuko saw him then. And he sees him now; different, but the same. I see you.
Zuko lights his daos in flame. Sokka grins, back to gravel and heat. “Come on, Fire Lord. Impress me.”
Zuko burns. His vision flickers with fire. His heart races. His blood sings. His body is like a magnet, pulling ever onward to meet Sokka’s. He advances.
He pins Sokka to the wall, blades against his throat.
Or, Zuko found Aang first, Sokka and Katara were imprisoned in Boiling Rock for trying to rescue their dad, and all Sokka knows is he's pretty sure he's not supposed to think the Fire Lord is attractive but he's never let things like rules stop him before.

An encounter with a memory-akuma strips Marinette of all memories of ever being Ladybug. Chat Noir vows to find her, but his beloved partner seems to have vanished into the cold snowy air. Left alone with no chance of defeating Hawkmoth, he reluctantly agrees to Rena Rouge's risky plan to find someone who will pretend to be the lost-Ladybug, in order to bring the Guardian and the Miracle Box out of hiding and back to Paris.
If Adrien is so devoted to his Lady, why is he enjoying Marinette's company so much?“Just be careful whose heart you play with,” Alya said at last.
Adrien didn’t know why she was so afraid for Marinette’s feelings. Ladybug had never loved him, so Marinette had no reason to even try to pretend.
If anything, it was HIS heart being put on the line. He was the one who’d have to don Chat’s mask and pretend the object of his great affection had returned. He was the one betraying the promise he’d made to his Lady.

Summary
An alternate world where Iroh leads a coup against Ozai on the eclipse and wins the throne for Zuko. The southern water tribe hadn't sent men to fight in thirty years, instead protecting their home, laying traps, using guerilla tactics so the fire nation gave up fighting them.
Sokka and Katara found Aang, but being frozen in ice for a hundred years has ramifications and for almost four years the tribe focuses on healing the avatar.
Zuko is advised for continued peace to have an arranged marriage outside the fire nation. The best option is a the child of the chief of the southern tribe. Katara is in love with Aang and is heartbroken, but will do her duty for her people. Sokka finds a loophole that they can carefully and craftily exploit.
Aka they lie. They lie so hard and Sokka becomes the one betrothed to Fire Lord Zuko. He is sure there will be no consequences to the plan. Certainly not going to fall in love with the man he is lying to. At all. Nope indeedy, no love on the menu. Dang it.
