Ronan brings his mouth to the side of Adam’s head and he feels lips on his deaf ear. Impossibly, he hears the air leave Ronan’s nose when he pulls away. Ronan’s eyes are closed when he comes back into view and Adam is glad for it. He doesn’t know what’s happening on his face and he’s afraid of what Ronan might find there if he sees.
