It lined the edge of the gardens and looked over the vast valley. They could see everything from that spot. It made them feel so small compared to the rest of the world, but it also made them feel like the only two people in the world. Especially at night. When the moon was risen, and the stars were out. They were vulnerable to each other then and there; they had no secrets.
Isa knows he’ll give anything to get that back. He’ll do anything to repair his friendship with Lea. Sure, things are normal enough between them now, but there’s still so much missing. So much that has changed. And he understands that things will never go back to exactly they were before, but the closer he can get, the better.

Summary
It's been months since the events of Civil War, and the Avengers are doing their best to remain a team, having promised to forgive and forget. Unfortunately for them, Tony Stark's latest invention has been stolen and recovering it causes tension to reappear.
Meanwhile, in Queens, Peter Parker has two main priorities on his plate — complete his midterm finals, and track down a fishbowl wearing criminal that may or may not lead him right into the hands of the Avengers.
Somehow, between all of this, Spider-Man's identity is revealed to his favorite heroes, Steve and Tony's friendship may become permanently be damaged by continued hidden secrets, and Happy struggles to buy a youth-sized casket for Peter's funeral.
Things were a lot easier when they were fighting over Bucky Barnes.

He also hadn't expected that keeping Peter from harm would result on a mind-controlled Steve Rogers tearing the arc reactor out of his chest and leaving him to die in front of the kid Tony was supposed to protect, but hey, he should have probably seen that was bound to happen.

In 1938, there's a bar in Brooklyn called Sully’s where people are safe to be themselves. Behind the bar, a girl pours drinks. She's always got a big smile for Steve and she says queer like it's a good thing. On a regular basis, she takes his shoulders in her hands and tries to shake sense into him, saying, "When will you do something about that best friend of yours?"
In 2012, Bucky’s gone, but Steve’s not, and the girl’s hands are too old to shake him. She does her best to make him see sense anyway.
Steve had people who loved him before the war, and it turns out a few of them are still around when he finally comes home.
