In 1972, a popular student of Yomiyama North Middle School's class 3-3, Meguri, suddenly died partway through the school year. Devastated by the loss, the students and teacher of class 3-3 continued to behave as though Meguri was still alive, leading to a strange presence shown within the graduation photo. In Spring 1998, Kaori Tanaka transfers into Yomiyama's class 3-3, where she meets Megumi Shimizu, a student whom their fellow classmates as well as the teacher seemingly ignore. The class is soon caught up in a strange phenomenon, in which students and their relatives begin to die in often peculiarly gruesome ways. Now, Kaori and Megumi seek to figure out how to stop it before it kills anymore of their classmates or them.

In the fall of 1994, a small Japanese village called Sotoba, comprising of roughly 1,300 people, burned to the ground, leaving only a handful of survivors. Among those survivors were people who told stories of the dead rising and trying to take the village over, resulting in an affair that could only be described as gruesome. Tales passed of an epidemic that started during this peculiarly hot summer that unfurled into terrifying depictions of loss and horror. This account is one of those stories.
An alternate retelling of the last few episodes of Shiki, incorporating a tragic romance between Kaori Tanaka and Megumi Shimizu into the center of it, featuring an altered cast of survivors and desperate bid for survival that conflicts with the intense passion and feeling behind the love Kaori and Megumi feel for each other..

What if, instead of Yoshikazu, it was Megumi to come to Kaori in episode 19. And what if, in that case, Megumi broke down with the realization of her actions, and a genuine desire to atone? Two broken girls begin to reconcile as they fight to escape the horrors they've both endured on either side.
In the final nights of the town of Sotoba, Kaori must reconcile with Megumi, and help to protect her, as she searches for her brother, and eventually, a way out.Inspired by FreezingKaiju's story We Can Never Return, And That's Fine. The story is dedicated to her, and my friend AzuraLily, who's always helping me find the motivation to write.
Named after the Paramore song, which I was listening to while writing, but generally unrelated.Series

Summary
When Robin falls under the possession of the Fell Dragon, Grima, her wife Corrin and their two children must venture to Ylisse, joined by a peculiar group also hailing from the country, in an effort to purge the tactician of the monster inside her.
When Robin left Ylisse with Corrin after waking up, nothing was suspected to be wrong. Her aid in the Hoshidan/Nohrian war helped make a peaceful resolution possible, and she even married Corrin, having two children with her. In spite of having left, though, Grima's influence still falls upon her and begins to possess her, filling her vessel, leaving her wife and two children woefully unprepared. However, Selena, Owain, and Laslow know just what's happening. On a long shot, they take the family back to Ylisse in the hopes that perhaps someone there could help rid Robin of the monster growing inside her, finding themselves once again in the middle of a war they had previously won, with Ophelia and Soleil sneaking back with them. Complicating things further, their original counterparts are also there, as is Lucina, who seems all too eager to try to resolve the issue by killing Robin outright.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, the horrors started in those lives were far from over…Following the return of Atsuko Kagari and Diana Cavendish to Luna Nova following the six brutal murders committed by Andrew Hanbridge, the now-romantic pair find themselves in the midst of another killing spree. This time, the killings seem to center around Akko instead of Diana. There are multiple suspects and almost no one to trust—but one thing's for sure. This time, the killer is out to make an example of their victims.

There were two parts of Tokito Akari. Two different versions of her personality. Both were true, both were the real Akari. The difference was which part she showed. Sure, every part of her was madly in love with Menou, that had practically become her entire life. But that manifested in different ways for either version. Where the more bubbly Akari was more affectionate with her love, the hidden part of her was a much more pragmatic, and frankly depressing, form of love. She was one who wanted to die so that the one she loved could live.
Akari had sealed this part of her off. It was just as much her, sure, but through all the times she’d realized that her knowing too much would get Menou killed. She had reverted many times before, even knowing that she lost bits of herself each time she did, to save Menou. She had long since decided the only way for Menou to live is if she were to die. But she couldn’t know anything about that, so with each loop, she would reset her memory as well, even if it pushed her closer and closer to becoming a Human Error.
So why was it that this side of her was currently awake?
