Maybe if the video ended there, Shane thought, it would be okay. Okayish. Still incriminating. Still a fucking disaster. Still embarrassing, to have his breakup with this beautiful actress filmed and disseminated on Reddit of all fucking places, but not a nail in his coffin, burying him alive. But the video didn’t end there.
“Can I ask if you’ve ever been with another guy?” she had to ask.
And he, tears visible in his eyes, had to nod.
Just once. Just a single nod.
Why did he have to nod?
“Have you ever told anyone that before?” He shook his head. “Was it different? With a guy?”
“Of course.”

Bruce finds out that a rival company plans to release a toy line of the Justice League. Said rival company is named LexCorp and a humanitarian's worst nightmare and there’s no way he will let the League be attached to people as abhorrent as that. So he quickly has all the superhero names trademarked. The problem? Now he actually has to use the JL and its assorted heroes in commerce somehow or risk losing the trademark. Hence, Wayne Enterprises launching a toy line.
Which would be totally fine if the Justice League actually knew that Bruce Wayne and Batman are the same person... As it is, they're not pleased that this bimbo billionaire is profiting off of them. They demand to get a say in the matter (also, why is the Superman action figure arguably the hottest piece of plastic ever seen, what the fuck?).

The staff meeting after Cat had broken her foot had involved a lot of reassigning, since she couldn’t exactly do the usual society beat with her foot in a boot. So much that Clark hadn’t really thought twice when Perry had said “and Kent, you’ll take the new Wayne foundation piece,” because sure, he liked working the philanthropy stories occasionally. The user’s job is to complete volunteering tasks in order to care for Brucie and earn in-game currency to purchase items, clothing, and accessories to decorate him and his home.
When Clark started using the Brucie!™ app, he intended it to be a fun and easy way to volunteer for a good cause. He didn't anticipate how quickly he would get sucked into Bruciemania.
For separate reasons, Bruce didn't anticipate how easy it was to get sucked into the app either.

The only way Clark would be able to introduce Bruce to the League, aside from him getting kidnapped and them having to save him, would probably be to bring him up to the Watchtower. Out of the suit. As a civilian. And Clark didn’t see Batman being comfortable with that any time soon.
