“ – Even though you are an excellent Keeper,” Varka tries to save himself, but he’s already smiling, and laughter is spilling past his lips. “I can’t redeem myself from that one, can I?”
Instead of being an insult to Flins, he’d found it incredibly endearing.
“No.” Flins’s eyes shine brighter in amusement. “You certainly cannot. But I do make good use of the inkwell, for records and reports at the end of each day.”
- For Flins's birthday, Varka brings with him a new bone puzzle and a set of elegant lingerie, all from his recent trip to Fontaine.

Summary
“You always smell of wine,” Flins tells Varka, kissing those calloused fingers next, featherlight. “Of the rain, and mist, when you’ve been out.”
Varka wants to know what it’d feel like to have his fingers upon Flins’ tongue, tamping it down. It’s a debased fantasy. One that has Varka filling out in his slacks, half-hard.
“When we fell into bed with one another, the first thing I noticed was your cologne; sharp and spiced. How intoxicated we were, in mind and all other senses.”
“But?” Varka tries. He lets his thumb catch on Flins’ lower lip, and he brushes soft flesh back to bare lower teeth.
A soft sound of need comes from Flins. A keen. His eyes flutter shut for a moment, and he sighs, overcome.
How Varka wants to taste wine from those lips.
- After a few indulgent trysts, Varka finds Flins before the night watch to make his feelings known.

They stumbled through the streets, from shadow to shadow, each flash of light a kiss. Mondstadt was never asleep before midnight, but it was rather drunk by that point, so avoiding any curious eyes was easy enough. Flickers of starlight painted Albedo's skin pearly white, his hair pale gold, his eyes the most brilliant saphire. The sight alone made Kaeya dizzy.
They came to a stop before a familiar, red door. Albedo's hand was on the doorknob already when Kaeya interjected, "You want me to fuck you in your mother's house?"

Summary
In the summer of 1989, the Byers family moves to Montauk, cutting short Mike and Will's last summer together before college. Certain he'll never see his friend again, Will confesses his love on their last night together, rocking Mike's world entirely. As the tear-filled goodbyes draw to a close, however, Mike is suddenly offered the unexpected opportunity to travel with the Byers family and help them move.

Summary
Twenty years after the Trifecta lost control of Nikan to Hesperian occupation, the mainland Republic and the independent island kingdom of Speer have an uneasy truce. A young Seer, sent south to settle a years-old blood debt, is delivered to the island by Hesperian captors as a peace offering.
In reality, Chaghan is as much a would-be assassin as he is a captive. The Hesperians’ political machinations mean nothing to him, but with his life – and more importantly, his sister – on the line, he has no choice but to play their game.
Unfortunately, the Speerlies are kinder than he’d expected, despite the Trifecta’s poisonous presence. There’s something about their Prince he can’t help but notice – a haunted look in his eyes that he can’t quite hide, the lingering smell of smoke in his hair.
He just needs Altan to take these damn bracelets off him so he can kill him already.

Kaeya shudders.
“Is that so?” he rasps.
“Yes,” Albedo says. “I want to see what happens when you stop pretending to be invincible.”
Kaeya laughs. It’s breathless. Unsteady. “Darling, I’ve never been invincible. I’ve just been very, very good at misdirection.”
“Then don’t misdirect,” Albedo says, fingers drifting again—closer now. Still not touching where Kaeya wants, but God, it’s unbearable. “Be honest.”
Kaeya tilts his head back. “Honesty is terrifying.”
“So is desire,” Albedo murmurs. “But you’ve let me have both, haven’t you?”
His fingers curl. Just slightly. Paint smears over the edge of Kaeya’s hipbone.
Or, Kaeya agrees to pose for Albedo, but becomes the one painted in gold, in reverence, in oil and longing.
